That last point was crucial.

No lead.
We barely ever trailed over these last 4 games.

Don't think we trailed at all against the Bengals, and then trailed for maybe 1 drive in each game against the Giants/Skins/Rams, often taking the lead back on the very next drive after losing it.

That was a huge part of both being able to protect Rush and the defense being able to attack the way they were. But with that said, this game went wrong every possible way it could and we were right there, on the road, with a backup QB.

How disappointed are you with CeeDee Lamb's production the past five games?
Not at all. I expected mostly mediocrity mixed with brief flashes of brilliance.

He's probably a 1,100 yards-ish, 5 TDs type of WR.

It won't just be on Moore and McCarthy to continue leaning on the run. Dak's gonna have to be disciplined and unselfish as well.

I'm pretty sure Rush doesn't have anywhere near the leeway Dak has when it comes to changing plays at the LOS. I remember we used to bitch about Romo KILL, KILL, KILLING too much.....checking out of runs too often.

So I want to see if Dak will be willing to allow the run game to take the lead in the offense.

I have no idea what the expected margin is on a -3 TO differential on the road but I know it's for damn sure more than 9, especially if you're playing a backup QB.

I'd guess it's somewhere around 13-16.
...and penalty differential.

10-72 vs 2-10

Exactly. I think this is a huge part of why the offense looks so different. Dak is changing plays far more often.

I wish they would have taken at least one deep shot against the Eagles. The Eagles CBs were ultra aggressive and were begging to be beat on a double move.

An out-and-up coupled with a QB pump fake probably leaves a Cowboys WR running wide open up the sideline.

Joseph is a knucklehead but I still think that holding call on the Turpin return was bogus. And that didn't just cost us 10 yards, it was that plus the 35 or whatever Turpin gained.

Same. Even Laufenberg said this as the game was ending.

It was so obvious.

In the 1st half I can understand them not doing it because the offense was out of sync as a whole. But there's no excuse for not trying it once in the 2nd half once the offense got rolling.
