I don't think that will be the case.

What we were doing with Rush was on borrowed time. Somehow someway things happen.

The same thing with the Eagles. There is no damn way in hell that Hurts can keep up this pace all year, from a mental to a physical capacity.

Sustainability is the name of the game.

I just don't know what this offense is supposed to be with a healthy Prescott this season.

I hope he understands what kind of talent is ready to pop in Jake Ferguson.
I get that. I do t think Rush is a capable starter long term. I just don’t think Dak is either.

Fair enough. I just don’t want to see the same Dak we saw in Game 1 and the playoffs last year either for that matter.

I would love to know what the hell happened after he came back from injury last year. He hasn’t been the same.
Just stick to this game plan and Dak will flourish. Run the fucking ball. If it isn't working, figure out how to run the fucking ball. That's what we did tonight and it actually should have gotten us the win.

But who knows what the offensive calls will be when Dak comes back.

We were -3 TO differential (-4 if you count the non-challenge, failed 4th down conversion) on the road with a backup QB and had a chance, even down 20-0.

And that's not even including the fluky free 1st down we gave them on 4th and 4 on their first TD drive.

The fact that we came back and legitimately challenged them under those circumstances is a testament to the team's toughness.

The Eagles are a good team, primarily because they've had pristine health for the most part, but with Dak we're better and it'll show in the rematch. It just sucks that they'll probably end up with homefield advantage given how weak their schedule is but I think we can beat them on the road given how limited their traditional passing game is.

Contain the run and play with discipline against their RPO smoke and mirrors, that's all it comes down to because Hurts isn't beating you in a traditional offense.

Unsustainable is the perfect word to describe the Eagles in basically every which way (how often Hurts runs, their smoke and mirrors passing game, all their expensive FA signings, having the best TO differential in the league).

They remind me of their 2017 team frankly where Wentz looked better than he was because of a strong running game and smoke and mirrors in the passing game with easy reads.

It's only a matter of time until they regress like that team did over the 2-3 seasons following 2017, just gotta hope they don't fluke their way into another Super Bowl.

Yeah, they hung in there instead of giving up like we've seen before. Getting it back to 20-17 was great.

That's why the most disappointing part of the game was the D giving up that long drive where they went up 26-17. Just hold them to a FG and a TD wins it. They better be ready for this offense next time.

Thing is, I wouldn't doubt if Philly has nothing to play for week 17 and doesn't even care if they win.

You can tell those 41-21 and 51-26 thrashings from last year weighed heavily on this man.

How disappointed are you with CeeDee Lamb's production the past five games?

If they did, Buffalo or KC would destroy them. I'm very confident of that.

December is gonna be fun. McCarthy and the boys gotta run up the score if they have the opportunity.

That was definitely the most disappointing part although I feel like it's just a drive that went their way, converting two 3rd and 4's on the ground, once with Hurts and once on a draw to one of the RB's with the defense thinking pass. We did a decent enough job against the running game but they popped a few in some key spots.

That isn't going to work over and over, especially not if they're down and playing from behind. Just gotta tighten up a bit on the run in a few key situations.

Oh yea, and all these fuckers do in the passing game is run slants, screens, RPO rub routes and throw 50/50 balls when it's clearly man downfield.

Hurts was 15/25 and I'm fairly certain at least 10 of the 15 came on slants and quick hitters off RPO/run action.

I trust that Quinn will figure it out and God help Hurts if we get a lead.

Now we know what Dak is worth. He isn’t top 5 but he is top 10 and better than jalen hurts. Jerry really screwed us getting rid of cooper.

That last point was crucial.

No lead.

Yeah Hurts showed zero as a passer in this game. But I guess technically he didn't have to.
