The Kurt Warner Video was sooooo revealing. Assuming the Cowboys coaching "brain trust' saw the same flaws in Prescott's decision-making in that video, why wouldn't the team bring in someone (like, say, Warner -- or someone) to sit down with Dak in the off-season to work on those things?
Like a Dan Reeves?

No outsiders allowed around here. They might tell you some things you don't want to hear.

He can know it all he wants.

Knowing what to do and being physically talented enough to execute it with a poor supporting cast are two different things.
Rush almost has to say those things, whether they have any basis in reality or not. Chesty Puller, legendary Marine commander, in Korea: "We've been looking for the enemy for some time now. We've finally found him. We're surrounded. That simplifies things."

Cooper Rush won’t give you Dak’s best, but he won’t give you Dak’s worst either.

He’ll be ok.

Understood. He did say the right things and it sounds like he has support. But the guy had his Garrett moment last year. This is gonna be like Chan Gailey running Garrett out there for weeks.

He just has such a weak arm. I wish him luck but I'd rather see Grier. His arm is passable and he has mobility. But I hope Rush proves me wrong. If Rush wins games and is passable for the next four weeks I'll give Kellen his props. But I doubt it.

CD isn't looking so great here, but again, the coaching is doing him no favors -- neither from a scheme perspective nor in the form of guidance.

If this were McVay, Reid, Belichick, etc. Do you guys think that he would be having the same struggles or showing the same lazy habits?

This fucking goof family really doesn't understand the disservice that they're doing to their key players by putting them in this awful environment.

Yea I said recently (and have thought for a while) that the guy is just not that smart, generally or football smart.
And there's not much you can do about that, but the way he rounds off certain routes is sheer laziness that can be corrected.

He ran that same lazy post corner route in the playoffs that he ran on Sunday night against Tampa Bay.

That is 100% on coaching. But like I said the other day, why would it change it the same shitty OC came back?

On top of the fact that Moore isn't all that creative, he doesn't exactly strike me as a guy who commands respect in the locker room.
