You know what I would also take, and what would fit Dak very well? The pure Kubiak-Shanahan type WCO type system where basically every single pass play is play action. Nothing fancy, you just work very hard at making every pass look like a run, then use some misdirection and get some QB rollouts off that.

Biggest thing is not one shred of stale Garrett influence.

But, cue Judge Smails and Spaulding.

I wonder what happened to Kubiak's kid... Pretty sure he was Zimmer's OC in Minny last year.

That system just produces so many easy throws. I mean, Kubiak won as many playoff games at Houston with Matt Freaking Schaub as we have in the last 10 years with Romo and Dak.

Good, the last thing I want to see is them giving up a 4th rounder for Andy Dalton or some such.

A 7th rounder or something inconsequential, maybe, just in the spirit of being competitive, but you can't be giving up any meaningful resources when Dak might not even get back to 100% until December or so.

If this were 20 years ago I'd disagree, but if they want to put cuffs on how aggressive defensive players can be then they should put in a rule for something like this, akin to a crackback block or something.

Listen, if fine with you all bashing the Cowboys and myself included. The thing is I can't stand is Eagles, Redskins and Giants fans doing it and reveling in our situation. Not to mention every blowhard on TV/radio/internet. Shoot me.

Just because those 3 teams won yesterday doesn't mean they're any good, but their fans are thinking Super Bowl. Eagles have some talent, not impressed with the coaching staff as of yet. Giants might just have a head coach and some staff. Remains to be seen. It was the Lions. The Skins. They have Wentz. Fuck them.

Don't be surprised when Dak comes back and we are still within striking distance for the division. Our defense will keep us in games.

It was shoulder to shoulder from a frontal approach, not a blindside shot. Parsons needs better awareness, or better yet, help.

EDIT: Looking closer Fournette might have clipped Parsons' facemask.

A simple rule might be requiring folks to disallow leading with the shoulder when engaging a player who is already engaged. When you lead with your shoulder, it's too easy for your helmet to connect
