In terms of pure edge rush ability Williams is top 5 in the draft, I think he'll give us at least 4-5 sacks as a rookie and potentially upwards of 8 if we win another 10-12 games and are often in the lead.

But we should've went with one of the interior DL or Dean.

I want to see Shakir and Bell go just to see if these jackasses force a WR in the 3rd come hell or high water.
Nope next up is Woods. All pre-determined

I think the Vikings made a very bad hire at GM.

Williams looks explosive to the naked eye, was 5th in the country in sacks (2 of the guys in front of him were Hutchinson and Will Anderson who is going top 5 next year), and had the fastest 10-yard split (and overall 40) amongst the edge rushers at the Combine.

He may be a one trick pony but it's one hell of a trick, and a trick that plays in the NFL no matter what.

I don't give two left fucks about his run defense if he can give us 8-10 sacks a year as a nickel/dime specialist.

I don't see what not to like about Williams. So 266 and ran a sub 4.5? And produced in a good league? Sold.

So, how come we didn't have some schlub announce our 2nd round pick?

Because we get to hear Emmitt speak in the third.
