I'm not a fan of Trump's manner and Tweeting either. But the part about dividing people? Just remember that when DeSantis or someone else who isn't "rude" is elected and they hate him every bit as much.
Yep.

The degree about how someone like DeSantis is roasted by the Woke Mobe will depend on his mannerisms.

If he personally decides to brand himself, yes.

If he elects to not shitpost on Twitter while he is taking a dump, maybe less.

The left has always ridiculed the right. Even back in the day, your hero Robin Williams would rip Reagan on a regular basis.

But this is different. Trump basically is a wrestling heel.

You must have conveniently forgotten how they treated Bush.

No it won't. That's the point. They hate him because he opposes them, not because of his manners or dumb tweets.

And that was just how things were. They handled it with class and were professionals at least.
How they handled it didn't change how the media acted and that's the point.

No it isn't. My point is that the media has always acted like that. And we elected a crude lout that actually lived up to deserve the ridicule.

There’s truth to that 100% but I’d rather focus on what could have helped. That’s how accountability works. There is plenty of material to work with on Trump’s side so I feel like that’s what the focus should be.

And again, all he had to do is be cool. I remember when he was showing his ass even before he was sworn in and some of the Trumpies around here were all like, it will change when he gets in.

He was a bad President to have at the time. His rude behavior and lack of a filter made an impression and a big segment of our society took that as a blessing to act the same way. He also took glee at baiting far left responses and basically helped divide the country.

To be fair, they were attacking tf out of him before he was even inaugurated. I could really give a tin shit how abrasive he was or if he hurt the left's little feelings. I only care that he was able to do the job, and prior to covid, things were humming right along. Even his time in office he spent dealing with covid must be looked upon favorably with what numbnuts has done since he took over especially with all the bullshit promises he made.

Trump is gone. Let him go. There is no more "could have helped". We have to move forward. Desantis, Crenshaw, or Haley is it for me. Outside of those 3, I don't have much hope.

Weird the timing of Covid, right?

All of this seems just a little odd to me.

Great. Two things to worry about might be too much.

Green energy...

They love their buzzwords that don't actually mean they are doing shit. But hey, everyone just get an electric car today and all will be well. Fucking idiot.
I will probably look at electric next time I am willing to buy.

But until then, make my 45 minute commute to work not cost me $60 bucks a week. Kthxbai
