I very much want to trash him. But I'll try to be fair.
It's pretty hard to judge a WR on his first season. Especially when his QB is trash like Hurts is.
That said, Lamb dealt with Dalton, Gilbert, and Dinucci most of last season, plus having to compete for balls with Cooper and Gallup. And Lamb still put up better numbers last year than Smith is putting up this year.
So, I'm not sure how good Smith is yet, but I am sure he's not as good as Lamb.
To his credit, it looks like he's trying to put some weight on judging by this picture of him pregame today...
(Also I apparently can't stop myself from trashing him.)
