I think the unvaxxed still gotta wait 10 days.
Ok, looked it up and everyone -- vaxxed or not -- has to sit out only five days now. However, vaxxed players can test out sooner than that if they can clear the tests, but unvaxxed can't.

I have absolutely no issue with Diggs' play.

I've said on this forum many times -- I'll take an Aqib Talib or Terrell Buckley type over a Byron Jones or Terence Newman any day.

And don't get me wrong, Terrence Newman was a better player than a lot of people here and gave him credit for. But he wasn't known as a ballhawk and he rarely made a play that won a game for us.

I would love to have a Byron Jones type on the other side of Diggs right now. Could you imagine?

Those guys who don't allow very many catches at all definitely have their value as well. But Diggs is like Talib in that they'll give up more catches than a Jones, but they'll also make way more game-changing and game-winning plays than a Jones type will.

Think about it.... How many games did Byron Jones win for us?

Literally none.

Diggs' interceptions have contributed to at least 3 wins this year, IMO. He's done more to help the Cowboys win games in 15 games than Jones did in 5 years.

So give me the a Diggs type every day of the week.

I won’t paint it so wide and generally. There’s a balance.

You’d take an Aikman over Favre, Emmitt over Barry.

Diggs isn’t so boom vs bust as PFF is portraying, either. Even without 11 INTs, he’s having a solid year, in ballpark with Terence Newman and Brandon Carr. He’s not Alan Ball with INTs.

Oh I agree.

I think he's a damn good player all around.

One of the things I've always thought about Jones is this. Say the Cowboys' opponent is inside our 25 yard line. On a 3rd down play Byron Jones breaks up a pass to prevent a touchdown or first down. That's great and all but the opponent is still likely walking away with 3 points.

Diggs on the other hand possibly secures the INT, which prevents the opponent from scoring anything on the drive.

That Byron Jones scenario played out quite a few times while he was in Dallas.

sure. saving 7 rather than 3 is nice. a 4 point swing. But even in an alltimer season like this one, that's saving points 11 times. And we all know he's not getting this many INTs every year. But how many times is a 3rd down pass knocked down that stops a drive, making them kick the FG? Or keeping them out of scoring range all together. I'd guess more than 11. INTs are nice, but people need to appreciate the solid pass defense outside of them, too.

Diggs is also at the top of the league in PBUs if I'm not mistaken.

Diggs is #1T, tied with JC Jackson, with 21.

Watch this - Diggs will magically end up in PFF’s Top 15 by end of season.

They had him about 90 during the Redskins game, according to the broadcast. So apparently one game vaulted him up 45 points somehow.

It wouldn't shock me if they did slot him top 15 in the next two weeks and then pretended he suddenly got way better. :lol

PFF is hanging their hat on 'luck' INTs that aren't repeatable vs 'skill' INTs. I get that rationale. However, I think they're conflating point-in-time grade (isolated period in time) with overall grade (essentially entire career).

Diggs in real life getting these INTs. Maybe he sustains a 7+ INT-per-season rate, maybe he doesn't. However, you don't need to discredit the indisputable fact that he has 11 INTs, tied for #14 all-time NFL history (jumps to #5T with one more). Think about this --- how many times has Tom Brady or Peyton Manning hit 50 passing TDs? In combined 39 seasons, it happened twice. I sincerely doubt PFF would've hemmed & hawed, but but but but but 'luck' TD and then scored Brady/Manning like Top 5 QB that season instead of all-timer season.

There's no shame in rating Diggs' season high and saying that, hey, we don't think Diggs is a #1 CB for the long haul, but, gotta hand it to him, this season it's working.

It's really odd and very discrediting against them.

They tweeted this at the end of September.

Somehow he had the number one coverage grade at the end of September but fell to 90 by December, and now is up to 45?

It reeks of not knowing what they are looking at.

Without even watching him, common sense should tell you that it's extremely unlikely that his performances have been that up and down.

But then there's this from the middle of October.

How does their grade even make sense if this is true? Was it only one or two games that dropped his grade? That would be preposterous.

Another one from the middle of October, essentially promoting him for DPOY.

From November 1st after the Vikings game.

How do they have him graded so poorly a month later? What was his grade on November 1st?

Then there's this from yesterday.

It's funny, for such a supposedly mediocre player they tweet about him quite a lot. Just yesterday they are trying to tell us their 45th ranked CB is "on another level".

It's just lunacy.

How anyone takes anything they say or do seriously is beyond me.

Try to find as many as you can...I'll make a week-to-week line graph. :lol
