to be fair he does miss some when hes stalking any poster who says something factual but negative about Dak. Holy hell upon that poster.
So honest question, you refer to the Cowboys when talking to people as "your team" and you only watched highlights of the game last night. Honest question here, so are you a fan of a different team than the Cowboys? Seems like maybe you are but could be wrong and your wording is just off. Don't really care but I'm curious if there is an NFL team you watch?

Again, it wasn't just about missing the game. You keep referring to the team as other fans Cowboys but don't really sound like they are "your Cowboys". So it made me curious. If you're just a fan who takes no pleasure in beating the piss out of a rival, that's cool. Again, I was just curious. I've learned to enjoy the season myself because Superbowls are hard to win and even harder for the Cowboys it seems.

im an older fan, ive seen this script before, its played out. For this team to reclaim its former glory, which is easier in this modern day than most other times, yea its only hard if you make it hard, and WE all know who makes it hard on us.

that aside, no im not going to whoop it up that we beat a depleted team, im sorry i just cant get up for it. I dont get excited over every win. it happens when you age for some people. we beat a depleted team, ok great, now what? nothing, you gotta do it in the playoffs. looking at this team, no reason to win one playoff game. at least 1.

im hoping for a complete win against the Cardinals. than i ll feel this team has turned it around, ready for the playoffs. if they lose, ok we won because of bad teams. we win that won, than the playoffs look better. lose it and its back to teh same old same ol.

Will this season end like all the others, in tears and disappointment? Yes, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the curbstomping of a hated rival. Momentary pleasures are still pleasures.

A win over the Cards would be great. In the grand scheme of things the Cards have a lot more to lose in that game than we do. But it would help legitimize this 4 game win streak at least. Winning 4 games over teams with at best wild card aspirations doesn't mean much. There are really only 5 good teams in the NFC. The Packers, Bucs, Cards, Rams and Cowboys. Wins over any other NFC teams really aren't impressive. But you still have to win those game regardless (Cards against the Lions for example). And frankly if we beat the Cards, they won't look all that impressive anymore either. Its sort of the double edged sword of the whole thing. If we would have lost both Redskins games they would look like a really good team right now too. But because we beat the snot out of them twice over this span, they are toast.

some what, i think the Skins turned it around while we started sinking. remember we re only good right now because of the bad team we beat. So, in my opinion, which isnt yours, yes the Cardinals can see us a bad team and if they beat us, we are a bad team again. thats how it works.

let me put it this way, some Cowboy fans are goign to rewatch the ice bowl thinking we might win. or the San Fran "the catch" thinking we might intercept it. we wont.

right now i think the cardinals have a better chance of turning it around when they play us, than the Skins did aginast us. they just looked at the seasn and stopped. we beat a depleted team. its a good win, just one im not goign to get excited over.

I don't really think the Skins just stopped. They win last night and they are in a position for a wild card spot. They came out in that game ready to play. Now by the time the second half started, absolutely they were out. That's not a mountain any NFL team is going to be able to climb. But I disagree that the Skins came out yesterday and just laid on the ground and spread their buttcheecks. That was a team that was furious about what the Cowboys were doing to them and you could see it on the sidelines. The problem was they couldn't stop it.

sure, thats another way of looking at it. and you could be right. lets face it, if the Cowboys throw an int or take to many shots then the Skins would go for it and i dont blame them, never take Dallas serious until they proved it. the Skins proved to be to depleted and up against a Cowboys team that happened ti turn it around.

congrats, you still beat on a depleted team. but if it continues against the Cards i ll be more excited about the playoffs. if the Cardinals win, well, it was a good ride, we beat on some bad teams. Saw this script many times.

I still don't believe he was sandbagging, but last night was much better from KM.

I thought it was really key early on when he called that quarterback sneak on the first scoring drive of the game.

Even though it was just a sneak, it sent a message early in the game that they weren't going to be conservative in calling Dak's number as a ball carrier, and I believe that set the tone for Dak being a more decisive runner as the game went on.

When his confidence is high, that's when Dak plays his best as a passer, and him making plays as a runner strongly contributes to that confidence.

So it looks like we're getting back on the right track at the right time, but the Arizona game will tell the tale.

I wouldn't say he was sand bagging but I think to an extent we were holding back a little. It's a 17 game season and you don't want to expose guys to injury for 17 games. So if you don't have to, naturally you hold back somewhat. But now as the playoffs are approaching you can't hold back anymore. With 3 games left I think we slammed the pedal down trying to do what we ultimately want to do on offense. There is some subtle art to it. I'm not talking about holding back trick plays or anything. But you experiment with stuff to find out what works and doesn't work and then ultimately the time comes where you just do what works. We did that against the Skins even though it may have exposed some receivers to taking shots and such.
