How is that a spoiler? That was in every trailer for the movie.
I just wanted you to have to click on it.

Haven't seen it yet but I'm sure it is. The first two books were excellent and outside of the crazy violence the movies have held true.
I really went in to the first one expecting Twilight...but damn if these movies aren't excellent.

People were saying it had an Empire Strikes Back feel in Catching Fire...particularly towards the end...not sure.about that, but it was a different type of ending.

Unfortunately the 3rd book was the weakest of the 3, IMO. It continues and ends the story which is what you ultimately want and it changes things up which is nice cause you start to wonder how they could possibly drag the 2 main characters into an arena again, but I just didn't care for a little part of the ending. Still will be worth watching.

Also, so crazy how well this movie was expected to do and how big Lawrence has gotten since the first. She got paid $500k to do the first, $10M plus incentives based on box office numbers for the 2nd. Damn.

I know Potter and Twilight did, but I haven't heard that Mockingjay will be. It would be incredibly stupid to do so as a lot of the first half of the book is minimal action and all setup. It would be a waste of time to see it in the theater.

I liked it better when it was called 'Battle Royale'
I remember watching that movie in a college Sociology class and everyone was a little disturbed. 5 years later everyone is reading the Hunger Games and enjoying it.

Funny how that happens.

This no spoiler, but an old lady gets a piggyback ride for an inappropriate amount of time.

The Way Way Back.

Outstanding.

Simply outstanding. Rockwell slayed it.

And you people know I don't think a lot of movies are good.

It's gotten tons of praise from a lot of respected opinions. I think Maltin said it was the best movie of the year so far. I'm looking forward to it.

Like I said, I don't heap praise on a movie often, but this one was damn good.

Some dumb frick premise, but it made up for it.

If anyone has a Roku box, you can get 2 free rentals through their new MGO service.

Also, if you buy something at Walgreens tomorrow, you can get a free Redbox rental.

I have watched the first 10 minutes of it several times now, but have just gotten busy with something else. I need to finish it.

The Conjuring was a creepy good flick.
It is James Wan's best movie. He tends to show and explain too much. I don't like a bunch of character makeup and exposition with an action movie ending in my horror. That's why Insidious was no good.

There was a little of that in The Conjuring, but he kept it under control.
