Yeah you are right. Pretty much know you are a fellow asshole.Which brings me back to my first point of it being possible to agree with a person on a lot of things, but still think (know) they are an asshole.

Carp would go out of his way to try and be funny. He was a troll a lot of times.Did you try to tell him one of your bad jokes...
He may have hated me too. I know I argued with the guy but never had a problem with him. Just normal football arguing to me.
No different than Schmitty and I do from time to time
Didn't like me either (said it point blank in a post), and I have next to no flaws.Carp hated my fucking guts. Not sure what I ever did to him, but he did. Not that I give a shit. But, he did.
F'n A.Yeah you are right. Pretty much know you are a fellow asshole.
It was SBK.Was it SBK or another that went on the complete rant against people of Mexican heritage? I remember cringing a lot when it happened
I can't remember the exact wording in his posts, but he essentially said he would curb stomp a Mexican.Just curious, what did that Risen/sbk guy say that was racist?
Like because they were a Mexican? If so that is legit racist.I can't remember the exact wording in his posts, but he essentially said he would curb stomp a Mexican.
I have a twitter account and for some reason had been following him, but I've had to unfollow.I don't recall Carp ever going overboard with the offensive, bigoted, and stereotypical stuff here. And I have never had a twitter account.
He could be abrasive, sure. But for the most part I thought he was pretty decent and enjoyed having him around. Even if we didn't agree politically.
He didn't use to, but he does now, incessantly. Perhaps why he stopped posting here: the guy would not last ten seconds reading literally anything in our politics section.Neither have nor did I. Wasn't he in the Army, white, male? I don't remember him talking politics at all...
Sure, still a crappy thing to say.Mexicans aren't a race; they're a nationality.
No. I would not put him in the same induction class as sbk.Clay Allison could be in consideration for an HOF'er too.
Yeah that guy sounds like a nut job.I have a twitter account and for some reason had been following him, but I've had to unfollow.
He's unbearable. He spews the most vile, hateful things about Republicans, conservatives, Trump voters, white people, males, etc. He does it in that same snarky, mocking tone he always took about, well, everything here, but he cranks it up to 11. These people are stupid, these people are ruining the country, too bad these people aren't taken out, typical CRT perspectives, etc.
Yes.Like because they were a Mexican? If so that is legit racist.
Wow. That's crazy. I never would have expected that from him.I have a twitter account and for some reason had been following him, but I've had to unfollow.

I wish he would come back. I would like to chatter with him about some stuff. He has removed himself from my social media, so it might be nice to reacquaint. He didn't use to, but he does now, incessantly. You thought Bipo was bad with his leftist trollings, Carp tweets basically nothing but MSNBC talking points slamming the right and all it's members - gun owners, white people, religious types, etc.
It was a thread that was talking about immigration and such. Sbk back in the Bush presidency days tended to be antagonistic to Republicans because he hated Bush, but by 2008 or so/the Obama and Tea Party era his views had more aligned with where Republicans had come around to. He was a marginally big Ron Paul guy. As you can see with his Zone avatar, where he adopted the Avatar of "Bill the Butcher" from Gangs of New York (and I think he probably does see himself as aligning with that character on some level), he's relatively pro-America and was anti-immigration.Like because they were a Mexican? If so that is legit racist.
