I can assure you that he was definitely heard of. The dude is a legend in Texas. He was THE difference in 2 roster rebuilds for Baylor outside of his HS work. I was not impressed with our previous 3 hires in the slightest. Having said that, pretty much all college programs roll out the red carpet for all HC hires, so not much difference here.
