God, this one was rough. We knew that we would eventually lay an egg. I guess it is much better now than the first round of the playoffs.

On the bright side, Parsons, in his rookie year, is on pace to put up more TFL/QB hits/sacks than the career highs of Bobby Wagner, Devin White, Darius Leonard, Fred Warner and Roquan Smith.

Those are the absolute best of the best LB's in the league, Bobby Wagner in particular being a generation-defining player at his position.

And Parsons is on pace to eclipse all of their CAREER highs in all of those statistical categories.

He might fall short here or there in a particular category or compared to a particular player, but what he's doing is truly special. I think he's going to end up being our best defensive player since Ware.

Combine having a talent like that on defense, along with Diggs, and an elite QB still not yet totally in his prime and the future is bright for this season and years ahead. We just have to focus on continuing to build the DL and consistently injecting young talent into the OL.

And yet if it weren't for the drops and Prescott overshooting Lamb on two bombs the game would've been a toss-up and Prescott would've had probably somewhere around 300 yards passing.

The Broncos played well, probably their best game of the season, but the way we played yesterday comes down to us playing like shit more than the Broncos showing how to beat our offense.

Disguising pre/post-snap safety looks isn't some new thing in the NFL.

Yeah maybe he just sucks at LT? That or he just needs time to adjust. Who knows. Either way he needs to get it figured out.

The big difference between us and teams like the Chiefs or Bills, or even someone like Arizona or Tampa Bay, is the ability to dominate games by running the ball. Defenses are more or less ceding the running game and/or short passes to these high-flying offenses and daring them to be patient.

We have the running game to punish that, but what our coaches and Dak need to keep in mind is that they can't fall into the trap that KC has fallen into where they're just so accustomed to hitting big plays in the passing game and scoring points quickly that they get impatient when they're forced to methodically drive the field. I'm not saying that's exactly what happened yesterday because we basically just played like shit from top to bottom, but I think the over-aggressiveness on 4th down is a symptom of that impatience.

It's all psychological because in many ways these defenses are basically giving up the short throws, I just hope Dak and the offense can keep that perspective about taking what defenses are giving.
