Nonsense. I heard from a very reliable source that the offense is top 5 in scoring.
:lol

The same source who pointed out our stats last year when it was clear the unit struggled then too.

All of those points and yards came as we were trying to dig ourselves out of big holes last year because we had slow start after slow start.

To hell with those phony stats......this offense has been bad for over 2 seasons now.

It's not "one of the worst in football" no matter how you try to present it.

It's not nearly good enough, but calling it one of the worst in football is simple hyperbole. Anyone who thinks its one of the worst in football hasn't taken a good look around the league.

This offense just sucks right now regardless of where we play.
If Jerry is going to evaluate things correctly, this is where he should start.

Garrett has had SEVEN fucking years to perfect this shit.

And we are capable of laying a fucking egg each and every week, regardless of who we play.

He has to go. Not a doubt in my mind.

Or maybe you're the one who isn't taking a good look around the league.

Yeah, and most of those worse have not had the same continuity.

Same QB. Same offense architect.

There are no excuses for that.

We absolutely have the worst offense of any team in the NFL that has had the level of stability over that side of the football that we have had.

Everyone else got fired by this point.

The reason why I think it's so bad now, on top of the fact that Garrett just isn't that bright, is that it's the same system in place for that entire span.

Teams were calling out this offense for its predictability back in '08, so just imagine how much easier it is to figure out 5 season later.

This offense is finished.

I actually did just that when I looked and saw we were 17th in yards and 4th in points.

I saw offenses like Jacksonville's or Tampa Bay's who are scoring 12.8 and 15.5 points per game. Or the Raiders and Giants in the 18 range. Those are the worst in the league.

We are not among the worst, we are simply not good enough to be a playoff contender.... without being one of the worst. Hyperbole on this matter gets your fan juices going, though, like when you criticized Ware for "never showing up in the 4th quarter." I understand, I do it myself from time to time (some people would say often).

But its still not true.

That may be... but it's also not the same as saying we are one of the worst offenses in the league (which is not true).

I don't think Sabin is an NFL coach.
Sabin is prob the best coach college has ever seen. If your going the college route why not pick the best? Not only that he doesn't put up with mistake after mistake. Sabin took over the dolphins the same team that killed the careers of Jimmy Johnston and Bill Parcells. People said Pete Carroll wasn't a nfl coach either nor Belichick after his first job. A good coach can coach anywhere.

I'm probably going to regret asking you this, but what would you say Garrett does well?

You say this offense isn't terrible and that Garrett isn't the awful coach we make him out to be, so I'd like for you to tell me what is you think he does well as an offensive coach.

I would be very surprised if there were more than 3-4 teams who have had the same offensive system in place for 7 years, so I'd assume in a year we are ranked 17th in yardage it would be very difficult for us not to be one of the worst offenses among teams who have had an offensive system in place 7 years.

In the past he has been very good at getting his offenses to produce yardage, and my theory was that the lack of points were a result of poor run blocking and too many OL penalties in the redzone.

I think I was actually 100% correct on that, in that we've seen an uptick in red zone efficiency this year... when we get there.

But we've clearly regressed in the consistency moving the ball over the last 2 seasons and I don't have an explanation for that, entirely. Assuredly some of it is the coach's fault. Some of it is that I do think Romo is not having a great year, and some of it is that the OL still isn't great. In the past I had put it at 75% personnel, 25% coaching, I'd say it's not that same ratio anymore.

And I've said I'd support a coaching change because of it.

I also can't help but point out who has been the official offensive coordinator the last 2 years when we've seen a real increase in the struggles of the offense in moving the ball consistently, that being said, it's Garrett's obligation to fix that and he hasn't.

Im beginning to believe it doesn't matter who comes in. Jerry can make even the best candidates fail.
Saban could easily flop here I think.

I hear they are going to rename Kiffen's Tampa 2 the Dallas 7 since that's what they give up on every drive.
