That would still be 40%.
I guess my point was about "they seem to really hate our coaching staff". Garrett was a huge part of that, so I'm not 100% sure they are talking about McCarthy.

True, but you're giving Garrett too much credit with that 1/3 business. Quit slanting the data!

Sorry, man. He is definitely a huge part of our decades long failure, and I hope that he is the reason for their talk about coaching being part of the problem, but it still reflects on Jerry regardless, and all of the replies about the organization being well run can fuck off.

2007, 2014 and 2016 were Super Bowl caliber teams, perhaps even 2019 as well. With a different coach we'd have made it there one of those years.

Should we blame Jerry for being content with puppets and proven losers?

Yes, but that doesn't chance the fact that Phillips and Garrett were proven losers.

The organization that built The Star seems to be well-run, being the most valuable sports franchise easily proves that point.

Roster management and coaching decisions since Parcells' departure has been another matter.

Jerry Jones is doing great business, but he ain't ever gonna be a real football guy.

Colin Cowherd is a clown, but today he compared our players to trust fund kids and the Star to a country club. He might not be far off.

Some gomers say that isn't true anymore.
It's only true on this message board, and from totally trustworthy sources like Terrell Owens and Patrick Crayton.

Ring of Honor type guys who love him like Romo and Witten, though?

Possibly, but one of the quotes outright names McCarthy.

That is concerning.
It’s still just one persons opinion, tho. I’m sure if somebody wanted, they could write an article propping McCarthy as one of the better coaches in the league, and find somebody for a quote to support it. It’s all subjective.

There were a few digs , which is more curious than a lone voice or opinion. A chorus you might say.

The point remains.
And insomuch as several people were quoted here in this article, not one person appears to have uttered a single positive about MM. I find that telling. And not a coincidence I think. But that’s me.

Maybe because the discussion at hand was the article posted? Like I mentioned earlier, if somebody were to write an article citing him as one of the league's best coaches and found a few quotes so support it, I'm sure that would be what was discussed. 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Opinion pieces are just that. Opinions of the select few chosen to support the authors topic.
