I wonder what some of my buddies are thinking about the situation right now. A few of them were brought over there (and spent years over there) to help train the Afghan military so they’d be properly prepared to handle the transition once the US occupation ended; only to watch them completely abandon their country and their own people the moment the U.S. started leaving.
