So my neighbor is currently a Captain in the 82nd Airborne and he’s at the airport in Kabul as I type this. It will be interesting if I ever get any stories out of him when he gets back.

Yeah, will do, I say neighbor, we were neighbors but we just recently moved about an hour away - we used to live outside Fayetteville (where Fort Bragg and the 82nd is located), in a heavy military neighborhood. I had to move closer to Raleigh for work. This guy is a paratrooper, he’s like the jump leader or whatever, counts the other soldiers as they are jumping out then he jumps out himself.

But my wife and this guy’s wife are good friends, my son is friends with his son, we hang out as a family a lot. We went out to lunch with them about 3 weeks ago and his wife had been telling my wife he was probably gonna be deployed. Not sure if that was supposed to be secret or whatever but obviously they are there now.

I'm not sure what their motives are, but this smells 100% intentional. Why else would they not go in their guns blazing to get OUR OWN FUCKING CITIZENS OUT?

I rarely watch much news because so much of it is lies, or, should I say, dishonest interpretations of a semblance of a true event, but it does seem like things are spinning out of control for Biden. I'm not sure if it's earlier or later than I thought, but it certainly is not unexpected.

The man does not have the mental capacity to be President. I'm not trying to insult him - at one time (not that I would have agreed with a thing he said or thought he was anything but a grifter or at least a corrupt politician), he certainly would have at least possessed the mental capacity to RUN AN EXECUTIVE BRANCH to a certain degree.

Everyone gets old though and Biden is too old for the job. He is like Reagan AFTER Reagan left office. And the other diversity hire he shares the space with isn't any more competent since she was picked for two reasons and two reasons only.

Yeah it might be time to elect a governor as the next President rather than a Senator.
