Prescott has missed like 5 practices and a week's worth of time, so I'll take hypemonkey Aikman's "concern" over the "extended" absence with a grain of salt.

If he's still not throwing in about a week after the Arizona game and leading up to the Texans game then I'll be concerned.
I add in the missed time from injury. You can’t miss that much and be sharp and midseason crisp with one week of practice.

I loved how they brought Manning and Lynch to the booth but interviewed the D-listers in the stands. :lol

This guy really makes a lot out of a not-so-great rep here.

He even got chipped, and fought through that, too. Impressive.

Odighizuwa did a nice job beating the center on the down block and flattening to the RB. It's not hugely impressive because the plat design gives him a natural lane to the backfield if the center isn't athletic enough to get over to him but it's still a nice play for a TFL.

True. Nsekhe and Knight did not look good.
Shocking, well known garbage players played like garbage.

This team’s lines are complete dogshit other than the old holdover mainstays of like Lawrence, maybe Gregory, Collins, Martin and Smith. Everything else sucks and I’m not sold on Biadasz or McGovern.

I think these are all reaches. I'm hard pressed to find anyone that stood out in a positive way.

Gilbert maybe. He made some mistakes but it looks like he could probably move the ball if given a full complement of starters. He needs to work on converting red zone opportunities into touchdowns though.

I think our depth at RB looks alarmingly bad. The bottom of the roster WRs don't look like much. The pass rush depth looks anemic. The run defense doesn't look any better.

The biggest positive I guess is that the first preseason game often looks like a shitshow so things will inevitably get better. And as booze said no major injuries.
The team is getting thinner and thinner. Recent draft whiffs and poor free agency reinforcement, combined with the astronomical salaries to aging players and a non elite QB and overweight running back, is going to leave us needing a tear-down soon. This team is closer to needing a rebuild than the Super Bowl.

Example… you think Lawrence produces more than like 8 sacks this year? I’m not betting on it. He’s on the downside.
