I could be convinced to like it depending on the cost and whom they select, but they need such an overhaul on defense I'd kind of prefer they stay where they are and take what falls to them.

Yeah I hate the idea of trading future firsts for extra picks. Especially in a draft like this one which is extra difficult to judge.

A smart team gets extra picks and continually flips them for future picks so that they always have extra picks for free.

What if this is the Claiborne move all over again... Seriously doubt this is true though. It would be beyond retarded for us to trade up to 4. There is no defensive player worthy of that pick. We have our QB. You don't move up for a guy like a TE when it's not even a need or even close to a need.
