I'm of the thinking that Dak should try to get every penny he can. Probably not a popular opinion, but football players have short window and should maximize it as best they can. These owners are making billions.
Yeah I don't have any issue with it.

But there are a shit-ton of Cowboy fans that do.

I don't get it.

Sources say Prescott underwent a second ... procedure on the ankle about two months later to strengthen his deltoid ligament, clean out the ankle and make it more structurally sound. That procedure wasn't directly related to the October surgery; rather, doctors then spotted issues related to past injuries to the same ankle, and so once the risk of infection was eliminated, they went back in to clean up the rest.

We could easily sign Prescott to the same deal Watson got (4/156) and be in a much better position relative to the cap than if we tagged him again.

And it could be structured in a way to where it's basically just a 3 year deal, averaging roughly 37/year, that we could get out of with basically no cap hit in year 4.

But I suspect Stephen is either too stubborn or too stupid to get it done.
