Our pass protection was excellent but the total abandonment of the run screwed us. That combined with a crazy amount of stupid penalties on offense. I don't want to say the offensive penalties today were bullshit, but they were pretty ticky tacky crap.

I thought Murray actually looked very good running the ball. I have absolutely no idea why we totally abandoned him. The defense played well today for the most part, but there were a couple of plays of really poor tackling. That white safety we are playing doesn't belong anywhere close to the field. He makes Wilcox look like an all pro.

The one positive to take from this game is Romo with 3 minutes left led us down the field for the game winning TD. It was a terrible defense he was playing against but it has to be a little bit of a confidence booster after our teams recent collapses.

I think this is the first time ever that we won and I had zero desire to watch any more football today.
Why? Watching the Steelers get spanked is always worthy of a watch.

It's funny, because the refs didn't call it on Claiborne a couple of weeks ago. The inconsistency is ridiculous.
It's the frakkin' Emmitt Smith rule, for heaven's sake.

The lack of running game (and a defense) is just crippling. Any surprise that with Waters out, it was by far the Oline (and especially Free's) worst game of the season?

All Romo all the time just seems so short-sighted.

Kudos to him for making the plays to get the win today, but the design of this offense is really not doing him any favors.

So, where the hell has Harris been all of the other games? Not blaming Harris, btw, just curious why we haven't utilized him more. We have a Beasley and Williams, too, and you still see our offense stagnate most of the time. Why can't we move the ball more consistently? Bad coaching is the only answer to that question.

I actually thought the O-line played pretty well overall. When all you do is pass the ball there are going to be a few stunts that get to the QB. Especially when the QB struggles to get the ball off quickly way to often.

By the way, Murray had 4 carries for 31 yards... 7.8 YPC but yet we couldn't run the ball with him more? Early when he was running well, it made the play action work well. Then we stopped running and just continued to run play action. Then when that didn't work we just stopped using a RB in the game all together.

Balance would certainly help them, too.

As an aside, NE may have started the two TE offense, but we have perfected it. The high pick was worth the investment.

Another new low for a Garrett led Cowboys team. Every week he finds some way to etch his name into the Cowboy record books.

Those two dorks flanking Jerry will be running the team in 25 years.

They look bored and disinterested. Maybe that's our window to finally escape the Jones regime.

Only 25 more years, guys. Hang in there.

27 of those 31 yards were on one carry so it's not like Murray was tearing it up. ~Garrett apologist
