Good stuff, that fits what my eyes thought that Diggs was targeted far more than Brown.

Yea, Diggs has definitely been targeted and especially early in the year but he's gotten better over time and obviously shown his ball skills. What he's going through isn't abnormal at all and I'm comfortable penciling him in as a starter next year.

I'd also be perfectly comfortable with Brown and either a cheaply re-signed Awuzie or Lewis rounding out our top 3 next year. If it makes sense to draft a CB early, fine, if not fine.

Just pulled the numbers for the Cowboys top 3 DBs (excluded Awuzie since he's missed so much time).

Diggs: 9 Games played; 66 targets; allowed 56% completion; 15.3 yards allowed per completion

Lewis: 8 Games played; 43 targets; allowed 60.5% completion; 8.2 yards allowed per completion

Brown: 6 Games played; 34 targets; allowed 58.8% completion; 10.2 yards allowed per completion

Diggs' yards per completion are much higher because teams take more shots down field against him. By a lot. The advanced analytics show that air yards and depth of target numbers for receivers Diggs covers are 2 and 3 times higher than the other Cowboys DBs.
Diggs: 9 Games played; 66 targets; allowed 56% completion; 15.3 yards allowed per completion; 2 interceptions

Lewis: 8 Games played; 43 targets; allowed 60.5% completion; 8.2 yards allowed per completion; 0 interceptions

Brown: 6 Games played; 34 targets; allowed 58.8% completion; 10.2 yards allowed per completion; 0 interceptions

It is part of their damn problem. They honestly have convinced themselves they are good. They are good enough and they are smart enough and gosh darn it people like them.

That's the exact sort of attitude that Parcells had to chase out of the building. It's toxic.

I get that they have to believe in themselves and all, but if they just ignore reality it's impossible to get better.

This isn’t a 1990 7-9 team that was a couple of bounces from being 11-5.

We’ve been generally outclassed every week aside from a Steelers letdown game.

This is what makes Lawrence's comments so laughable.

Hanging with a Steelers team that clearly overlooked them and barely losing to a bad Eagles team has gone to his head.
