The key to a strong football organization is that it doesn't matter who the coaching staff is.

There is an organizational vision.

The real alarming thing is that we have had the very same owner and the very same owner's son overseeing talent acquisition.

This is the real place to look. They don't have any idea what the fuck they want to be "Cowboys Football".

Looking at this as a business, this is exactly right. The organization has no operational vision. The only vision that is anything is the fiscal portion of the company. If I were a business consultant for the football operations I would suggest a complete overhaul.

This topic came up on Sirius today and I totally agree with it.

There was a distressed Texans fan on there and the suggestion from Kirwan was to hire consultants, have them evaluate the team independently and come back with reports.

I know how sometimes consultants are laughable when you think you get it right as an organization.

If the Joneses were serious about hard truths, they would have done this a long time ago.

They have no interest in winning a Super Bowl. Let's be clear about that.

They are only concerned about relevance because they are accountable to no one other than themselves.

Jones just plays the card that he gives a fuck.

He looks at that man in the mirror.

He screams into that pillow.

It is not a coincidence that he has been one of the most aggressive owners in the sport in getting fans in the stands.

I would hope that going forward people don't bother to take his bait.

He is delivering a bad football product. And he knows it.

Lookit, Jerry won a national championship when he played at Arkansas.

Let’s leave the grocery getting to the expert.

For nye on 30 years. That’s unconscionable for this franchise

The drafts have been better, the problem with the Jones family is that they refuse to jettison underperforming and overpaid players.
Then there’s the constant sunshine pumping and false hope and vapor ware of “improving”.
But yeah, no organizational vision.

I know it's a medical fact that when the body is injured it will repair itself stronger... by the time he retires, he will be invincible.
I appreciate Lee being a standup guy. You got to love the spirit. To keep coming back again and again and again. The guy has great character, great mind, great athleticism. He just couldn't stay healthy and it's not his fault. He's essentially taking accountability for something outside his control. Kind of tragic, to a degree.

Ah well, he's rich and has a bright future in coaching.

Truth...and I hope he goes somewhere else to coach, otherwise he's doomed to fail.
