Yeah I actually think it was that "in the bag" attitude that sunk Hilldog.

We will see if it does the same for Biden. I actually think more people liked Hill than they do Biden. But there is a much stronger never Donald contingent now.
There are also a ton more people that didn't vote at all or voted third party that Trump has made a believer out of, myself included. I didn't vote in the 2016 election. But, you damn sure can bet I will in this one. I'm sure there are a lot of other people out there in this same boat.

I may be in the same boat as you. Didn't want either before. Still don't but at least one guy I trust with the economy. The other I don't.

Me too. I voted 3rd party in 2016. I was very much a never trumper then (and even left the Republican party in part over Trump). But I will very likely vote Trump now.

Is there? I actually don't get that sense.
I think so but it's hard to tell because the media makes things sound 1000 times worse. It definitely seems like there are more people I know that act like the world will end if Trump is elected. But those people were voting Democrat regardless of who the candidates were. And I think it's mostly a justification for voting for a terrible candidate like Joe Biden when in reality they had a different Democrat they wanted and didn't get.

me too, I voted for Johnson but I'm so disgusted with the democrats, I'm voting straight republican, not because I am wild about Trump or have major belief in the Republicans but as a hopeful rebuke to virtually everything the democrats seem to stand for these days. I want the AOC's & Bernies of the world run of politics altogether, they're fucking lunatics

I would love to see the democrats get slaughtered across the board as a massive rebuke to their insane beliefs, policies and ways of running things

but even if that miracle happens, I suspect it would just pour gas on the fire of madness that seems to be emanating from these folks all across the country

I think that's most of us.

I see Dems online calling us Trump worshipers, slurpers, he's our king/messiah, etc. But the truth is most of us know Trump is wheels off in a lot of ways. At least his policies are mostly right, he doesn't hate this country, and he's the only thing between us and full blown socialism.

Couldn't be any more obvious they're going to pack the court. He's not even good at hiding it.

And I looked up the rest of that clip. He claims it's unconstitutional for the Rs to confirm now because the election has already started. What? Also claims the Dems wouldn't confirm one in the same situation. Right. And that he claims he knows because he taught constitutional law for 20 years. When did he have time to that?

Also repeats the lie about Charlottesville "both sides" lie again. And has the typical angry, combative attitude.

Me too. I voted 3rd party, but now feel like Trump has earned my vote.

But it's hard to separate yourself from all the coverage you see, even if you know so much is a lie.

I can't help but feel Trump loses.

Oh well -- I said once that I would trade a Biden Presidency for a Ruth Bader Ginsburg replacement (especially if I knew R's would keep Congrress/Senate), and now it seems like I'm gonna get just that.

Could be just as well because another four years of Trump might set up the Democrats to be in power for a while.

Instead, we could have four years of Biden, who will mess things up, and then usher in a Crenshaw/Haley presidency for 8 years thereafter.

In that instance, we'd have to merely ride out a likely Breyer retirement and replacement (hopefully with a Senate still held by Republicans), and then with the Crenshaw/Haley presidency, we could replace Thomas, Alito, and maybe even Roberts/Sotomayor.

I am one.
This election cycle is miles different than the last presidential election. Posters then would not under any circumstances align themselves with Trump. It was of the greatest embarrassing thing to admit you were supporting him and believed in his platform. I am glad to have some company around for this election cycle.

That is a scenario I could definitely live with.

You don't think they're going to pack the Court? Biden has as much as admitted it. And I wouldn't put admitting new states past them, as well.

Hopefully they don't win the Senate so this doesn't happen. But if they did, Crenshaw or any other R might not be winning for a long time.

I mean, if they hold both houses and the Presidency things will get tough regardless.

But I'm saying a blue wave is probably more likely after four more years of Trump, than if a smaller one happens now and we can hold onto the Senate or at least make such extreme measures like Court packing or state expansion politically unpalatable for moderates like Tester or Manchin.

I think I'd rather see Republicans win in 20 than 24, if I had to choose.

Democrats are INSANE right now. If americans give them a big rebuke right now, hopefully they'll realize they need to get waaaaay closer to center. They're floating so close to marxism and it really needs to stop. Now.

Absolutely. Best case scenario would be for them to lose to Trump in a landslide. Losing that badly to a guy they absolutely despise would hopefully make them rethink their approach to try and win back some votes.

My main thing is I would hope with a Trump landslide it would make them back off of this socialistic/fascist bullshit.
