Voting by mail is safe and secure and also waaaaay more convenient... except we've never pushed it on a massive scale before now because reasons.
I get (don't agree, but understand) the reasoning for voting by mail if it's, "it's incredibly flawed and ripe for corruption but necessary due to a major virus ravaging the countryside so we'll have to make do".
But don't lie to me and pretend it's safe and secure and no different than voting in person. The postal service has been around for 250 years. If it was safe and secure it would already be the default method of voting considering it's also much, much more convenient.
As an aside since I can't leave the other point alone, we've been slowly opening back up, we've been holding rallies, going on vacation, protesting, rioting, looting, going to restaurants and grocery stores, women are getting their hair and nails done, going to school in the building in some cases, on and on. And yet the virus isn't any worse than its peak in April and May. WE CAN VOTE IN PERSON. IT'S GOD DAMN IMPORTANT.
