The Oline kind of stunk tonight. Hope they get better. Donald was a real problem for us.
The OL was not good but I’m not sure what can be done about it. You pray that Collins is back in 2 more games. But I think missing Frederick is gonna hurt us inside way more than it did in 2018. Hopefully Biadasz takes that job on merit soon.

And the D, I just have no fucking idea. Time to be worried.

No. Aldon Smith snacked Jared Goff in the face and we got a turnover inside Rams territory anyway.

We. Didn’t. Get. It. Done.
There were a lot of bad calls both ways. But we had our chances and we blew them. Not all on the refs.

Thoughts:

3 points in the 2nd half is ridiculous and inexcusable.

Defense sucked and needs to get way better at stopping the run.

Big mistake going for it on 4th instead of getting the tie.

Got screwed on that Gallup pass interference. Got really screwed on that. Terrible call, probably would've tied it and gone to OT.

Other than going for it on 4th with a sure tie field goal available, this game was lost on offense. Not nearly good enough.

I think we probably will sign Thomas now. Just not sure it's gone fix what's broken.

The good mews is the defense got better as the game went on. Lots of new parts and a new coach there. Some growing pains are to be expected. Now to lick our wounds on the injuries. They are way more concerning than the loss IMO.

The game was a toss up, the Rams played slightly better but it came down to a great play (and a moronic decision from McCarthy to go for it) on 4th down and the horrendous PI call that decided that game.

I'm more concerned about the defense, they looked completely discombobulated at times and gave up 400+ yards. The offense will get on track as time goes on, they weren't far off from putting up about 27ish tonight.

It's the first game under a new coaching staff and they lost a tight one to a decent team, it's not the end of the world. If I had to bet on who wins the division it's still Dallas.

This is the reasonable take

Yeah I’m not sure what that does. I was excited when I thought he might be a final piece.

It looks like we need pieces everywhere. Not sure I’d bother now. He will get frustrated and cause problems and be part of the blowing of assignments. I was in favor when i felt everything would be working seamlessly, now I feel like it’s falling apart.

Not calling a penalty on a terrible pass is way different than making up a penalty.
Why did the game come down to a desperate 3rd and 20 when it was clear the offense was superior all night???

It goes beyond one stupid play. Ramsey gets an Oscar, it shouldn’t have had to matter.

Steele was getting mauled all night. Where was the extra protection? This was Jason Garrett territory.

Except Garrett might have lucked into overtime
