Wow, this is multiple times I have seen good things about this kid. We will see how he turns out, but damn it seems like he might have something. (stfu about it's just TC. I am pumped about any reports)

I hope he gets to push Justin March off the roster.

I'm not going to claim that we'll win a Super Bowl with McCarthy, but we'll be better in gametime decisions for a couple reasons and one is his reliance on analytics.

Remember when Garrett admitted that he doesn't rely on that kind of shit? Just his spineless intuition got us that damn far!

Those McCarthy comments make it hard not to homer out.

Sounds like all the talk about embracing advanced scouting and analytics wasn't just lip service. I get the impression that game plans will be a lot more flexible on a week to week basis compared to what we've seen in the past. Kinda like the Patriots but maybe not to that extreme. But still better than what we've seen in recent years where they predictably slammed Zeke into the middle of the line week after week.

I've repeatedly made this point. The fact that McCarthy doesn't struggle with basic game management decisions automatically makes him a better coach than Garrett in my opinion.

Not with a proven vet like Zuerlein.

But I was shocked that they decided to cut Forbath so soon. Especially since Forbath performed great for us at the end of last season. Maybe there were some "off the record" kicking competitions were going on between the two during shutdown.

Couple of injuries. They don't sound too serious but something to keep an eye on. Especially with Smith who always seems to be dinged up.
