I think we can get by, though our defensive ceiling gets lowered a good bit without him. But this would've been a disaster without the Griffen signing.

It's a big blow but at the end of the day this was always going to be a team built around offense and we still have 2 Pro Bowl DE's, a guy who can give you 4-5 sacks as an interior pass-rusher, and a very high-ceiling wild card in Aldon Smith.

Our pass rush should be fine, especially if the offense is consistently giving them 10 point leads.

We've been lucky with camp injuries in recent years (nothing major). It finally caught up to us.
