Assuming Dak doesn’t sign the franchise tender, do you prefer:
A. Starting the season with Andy Dalton as starter
B. Signing Dak for four years, $35M per.
A.

And for option B to even become more attractive, that number would have to be more like $30mil per.

I see no need to hamstring your cap by over paying one player. This team is so stacked, Andy Dalton could get this team to at least 10 wins this year, imo.

I’m at the point where Dak can go fuck right off somewhere else.

Pretty loose definition of a "dropped interception".

I counted maybe 4 legit near picks at best. As Iamtdg said, most of those are just normal PBUs.

Yeah, god forbid a player want the best contract he can get. Come on, man. He deserves this contract. And, 30 mill per isn't going to get it done. Nor should it.

Half of those are one-handed PBUs. The guy running that account is @Cianaf. He is and always has been a Cowboys hater.

That was a joke. I don't know anything about this person but he either has an agenda or doesn't know what he's talking about, or both.

I counted about 3 legitimate int drops, which happens to every QB.

Yeah with a guy who has never thrown many interceptions it seems a bit silly to do. Now a QB who has a bunch of INTs every year and suddenly had a low number, maybe he got lucky and had a ton of dropped INT's all in one year. But an exercise like that is a waste of time for Dak.

I get it, get what you can get. A guy should also recognize he isn’t a top 5 or maybe even top 10 player at his position.

I’d love to charge $25 for a hamburger because I work hard, but I also want to stay in business.

I would imagine he could get 35 from almost every team (provided they need a qb).

I’m not a big Dak fan, but this is bullshit.
Haters are going to hate. Who the Hell wades through all that footage looking for these clips?

Every QB has these kinds of plays. Passes defended, it's like even a stat.

Plus, what is the league average? You would have to concede that every qb has had some dropped.

You could do an analysis like that for all 32 QBs

Probably not.

Now that I think about it though, I think there are 4 I would definitively put ahead of him. After that I think there are a handful of guys I'd group together as a toss up right now. He's somewhere in that group I think.

So maybe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dak is pretty solid when it comes to 4th quarter GW final drives, right?

Dak barely breaks the top 5 if you just rank the black QBs in the league, for me. I concede everyone’s top five is going to be different.

I’m taking Wilson, MaHomes, Jackson, and Watson before Dak.

Unless all white QBs are terrible starting this, Dak can’t make my top 5. He probably ranks in the top 10, though.

Wanna make sumthin of it, boy?

Wilson and Mahomes are definitely ahead. I'd put Watson and Dak in the same grouping. Not sure I'd give the edge to either right now, though I haven't looked at it closely.

Jackson I want to see without the gimmick offense before I'd rate him highly. Not top 15 for me.

I dislike Quincy 2.0 more than most, and that Tweet was utter bullshit.

Damn, Quincy 2.0 is a bit harsh.
Do you remember when you were young a d didn't want people to know that you liked a girl so you picked on or teased that girl so you wouldnt be embarrassed? That is what we have here. We jist need to help Plan9 come to the understanding tbat it's ok to express his love for Dak.
