Well Hurts wasn’t ever gonna go as a second rounder. Maybe fourth rounder if lucky. Regardless I think Jones duped then into taking him to keep the Cowboys at bay after they indicated they might pick him up. Worked like a charm.

One of the things I've always wanted was access to a draft broadcast that actually gave honest assessments of players and picks. 99% of the time ESPN and NFLN analysts praise the hell out of players and picks. They talk everyone up like they're going to be stars in the league.

Obviously that's not the case as most of these guys wash out in under 2 years.

So I've always wanted a broadcast where the analyst gave honest opinions. I'm not saying I want them to degrade the players but if a player has average speed and has questionable hands I'd like for them to say something like "Player X will be lucky to make it onto the final 53 man roster unless he has a strong camp".

I think it would be refreshing to sit through a broadcast that offers some actual critical, brutally honest opinions.

Hell yeah. Put it on ESPN 2 or something like when they have the coaches' film room view of the bowl games. Maybe get some old retired scouts or coaches who won't care about the twitter fire they'd get for being critical.
