Yeah checks with direct deposit have started.
I have direct deposit, but haven't seen mine yet. I read somewhere that they are starting with the lower income folk first, so that may be why I haven't seen mine yet.

As someone who has done employment discrimination lawsuits I'd say your off base. Although I will say everyone who is fired thinks they have a case even though they usually don't.
That’s correct. The has to be circumstances in place that give support to whether a person can prevail with a wrongful termination.

Good lord... no, he is not.
Other than early on when Cuomo was blasting him for the ventilator shortage, I've heard him mostly praise governors for how they're handling things, and talk about how well they're cooperating.

So here is a scenario. You're a 65 year old with a breathing conditioner. You're at high risk with the virus. You get terminated after not working during the virus. You believe you were terminated because the health problems made you a high risk in addition to your age and health condition during these times. You'd potentially have good cause for wrongful termination.
Maybe so but the plaintiff position will have to have evidence that the reason for the terminated was primarily because of his age because there is a statute covering that. If the reason was also inclusive of the health condition then would then leave the plaintiff with the burden of proof to show the defendant used this reason as part of termination process. I guess the bottom line to all this is as a general matter an employer doesn’t have to have any specific reason to terminate an engagement of employment but must be diligent to not violate any existing rules that would be prohibitive to the decision.

Yeah that's my understanding as well. I'm not expecting anything as I always pay in.

I really fucking hate Austin
In all fairness they are only accused and not convicted of anything. As long as they show up to court and have proper bond conditions it's not that unreasonable considering people should be presumed innocent.

"Charges range from drug possession to aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, assaulting a peace officer, arson, human sex trafficking. "

I don't really have a problem with the non-violent cases getting released, but this goes way past that

Ha, how do they know they're liberals? Sounds like fake news to me :lol
Because a conservative would be smart enough to know how the 2nd amendment and gun laws work? And wouldn't be shocked that you can't just buy a gun like you would a loaf of bread?
