The mayor of Lubbock issued a stay at home order last night. Looks like bare minimum I'm working from home for at least 2 more weeks. My family may murder each other before this is over.

Our city council voted against it this past Thursday even though every city around us has one in place.

Honestly if it goes past April might as well say fuck social distancing and save the economy. It might sound heartless but by then the curve should be flat and our medical facilities should be able to handle the numbers.

me too, but 2 months appears to be on the most optimistic side of things

The Four Possible Timelines for Life Returning to Normal

wish we knew whether those that have recovered can longer can get it or spread it and our testing was massively ramped up. If those who have had it don't spread & can't re-acquire the virus, then they could be released back into the working population asap along with those that have tested and dont have the virus.
