I am sticking with my initial assessment that Henderson isn't worth a first, just because he's the 2nd best cb doesn't change I think he's at best a high 2nd pick
Size, speed and production. What don't you like about him in your assessment?

Once I actually watched a little of him I realized my initial opinion was wrong. It happens.

Lack of plays for the ball(tho tbf he is better than Jones at it), on press he can get out physicaled where he gets boxed to the outside, and making business decisions on tackling way too often

Kinlaw won’t make it past the 49ers at 13. Drop in replacement for Buckner and maybe more upside.

Rich get richer. That’s what happens when you draft really well.

How does the niners picking in the colts slot at 13 have anything to do with them drafting really well?

I just can't believe they look at Brown and think to themselves, "You know what? We can't do better than him." Hands of stone and has regressed badly since his rookie season.
I don’t think Brown is half bad. We can get by fine at corner: depth is what is important at that position. And if we actually give Lewis a role, and Canady is a decent 4/5 CB, and we draft someone else in the mid rounds, we’ll be fine. Upgrade Safety and DT. That’s what you’ll see make a difference.

They basically get to recycle Buckner at no cost and ensure a strong DL for years to come.

Buckner, Armstead, and Bosa have been really good for them. That team has totally reloaded since Hairball left.

Thank God they suck at finding QBs

So all the run-stuffing NT's have dried up, the vast majority of them going for somewhere in the 8 million/year range, all the while we sit here with 31-year old Tyrone Crawford coming off a bum hip soaking up a healthy 9.1 million against the cap.

Like, I can appreciate the general philosophy of building through the draft, retaining your in-house young talent, etc., but the approach this organization takes towards free agency is disgusting. They refuse to even consider any kind of significant upgrades, even in moderation, and pretty much view any deal that approaches 10+ million/year with contempt.

One left as far as I know, Andrew Billings.

Texas guy, Baylor alum.

Young.

Makes too much sense.

It is. But it's mostly bad news about yet another option having signed somewhere else. You're better off not knowing!
Yeah there is nothing hardly left at the NT table.

Snacks Harrison
Andrew Billings
Timmy Jernigan
Marcell Dareus
Dontari Poe

I think I'm with you on Billings. I wanted him in the draft. Super strong kid just scratching the surface.

Yeah, I don't know why the Bengals paid so much for Reader to replace Billings? But then again, Bengals.

I just hope that the Cowboys are in fact talking to players at these positions and not waiting around doing nothing.

Poor McCarthy, the Packers refused to give him free agents. And now he is with the Cowboys being given nothing.
