Are you referencing the potential stimulus program or a reimbursement program for loss of wages?
The checks supposedly on their way. Also I haven't filed my 2019 taxes yet. So can I get one of these checks?

I wasn’t aware any checks were formalized as of yet. I know a stimulus program has been discussed but to my knowledge it isn’t in place an might not ever be done.

people with enough savings aren't gonna spend that money. they're gonna sit on it because they don't know how long this is gonna last.

There must be two different programs that is being bantered about. A stimulus program would probably be a fixed amount to an individual who met certain criteria for tax filings.

A reimbursement program for loss of income would have a completely different criteria and likely be tied to a withholding and or self employment tax.

I haven’t heard that either was anywhere near a finalization. And may not even happen if the pandemic restrictions can be resolved fairly soon.

Basically Trump wanted to send everyone a $1000 and Pelosi blocked it over a certain income threshold, haven't seen the numbers on what the cutoff is yet

Yeah that was the proposed stimulus program and I think it was premature on Trumps part. I believe he got a bit reactionary over the stock markets fall and the overall effect the loss of business revenues would incur because of the virus guidelines.

@Iamtdg endorses this?
No, I do not endorse being reckless. If that's what you have gotten out of everything I have said, I don't know what to tell you.

Well so I'm on home quarantine as of today until my test comes back (may be a week). Developed a runny nose and muscle aches. Nothing major. I probably have a normal cold. No cough, no fever. However, I can't in good conscious keep working if there is any doubt. Would you want a sniffing doctor?

Unpaid leave...sigh...
Stay safe, man. My thoughts are absolutely with you. Hang in there.

Now down to four rolls of paper.
Go to the store and get some. Around here the stores are restocking every day. If you have a Sams Club membership near you can make an order on line and they bring it to your car got pick up. This works for any store purchase of groceries. I haven’t confirmed thi but I believe Walmart will do the same.

I had my son go to 5 different places yesterday and none of them had any toilet paper. So, for those of us that didn't panic and hoard, we can't even find a week's worth. In short, people are fucking stupid.

It might be dumb but unfortunately you have to follow or this happens. The vast majority of people wont look out for others. Your best bet is to go early right when they open now. If you wait until the afternoon the restock is gone.
