Just goes to show you. I ain’t over till it’s over. The Chiefs dug themselves out of a hole when SF thought they were winners going away. Take your foot off the neck and you get mauled.

49ers averaged 6.4 YPC.

In that critical 4th quarter with a three point lead, then down 4, Shanahan called 2 running plays that gained 5 and 17 yards.
He called 10 passing plays, completing 2 of the first 4 for 32 yards. Then 0 completions on the last 5, with a sack and an interception.

Shanahan, whose whole brand is running game, has lost two double-digit Super Bowl leads and has abandoned the run in both.

Brutal.

He really is becoming a scary good QB. He is learning that he is never out of a game with that guy and the speed he has at receiver.
As a Tech fan, I was iffy on him coming out of college. He had a terrible habit of abandoning clean pockets. I knew he would have to have that coached out of him to succeed at the next level. That and work on his decision making. Andy Reid was a perfect fit for him. Mahomes has been better than I ever would have imagined.

Yeah makes one always wonder if he had gone to a coach like Garrett would we view him the same way.

What’s the best thing to say to patronize 49er fans around town tomorrow?

- Joe Montana would’ve won it
- It’s only a game
- You think Mahomes saw John Candy on the GW drive?
- Hope you didn’t catch coronavirus at your party. ~take a couple steps away~
Tyreek Hill completion should be called The Catch.

Andy Reid learned under Mike Holmgren who learned under Bill Walsh. It's your own fault.

Don't worry, it's only been 26 years.

That's interesting he actually did that at least once in the super bowl for a terrible sack.

I dont think Mahomes had that great a game. He came up big in crunch time, though. Seems they play better from behind.

49ers do have a very good defense but he came alive when it mattered.

The MVP is the Chiefs defense stopping the 49ers for zero points and minimal gameclock used up in the 4th qtr.

After the second Mahomes INT, 49ers has the 10-point lead, the ball and 12:00 remaining. The next two drives only consumed 4 minutes combined.

Defense gave Mahomes three offensive drives in the 4th quarter. 49ers paid the price.
