Shit. That means we are slotted in to take a corner at 17.Yea, this is why Byron Jones isn't worth 15/year.
Give me DB's who can take the ball away first and foremost, then worry about the rest.

Jerry Jones must be suffering from an epic case of writer's cramp.
Almost certainly in the first two rounds. This club can’t help itself. The Joneses want their bend don’t break security blanket.Shit. That means we are slotted in to take a corner at 17.
So if we take safety in the first and dt in the second(or vice versa) how are you gonna sell your doom and gloom then?Almost certainly in the first two rounds. This club can’t help itself. The Joneses want their bend don’t break security blanket.
These exactly echo my own comments and feelings regarding re-signing Byron Jones or not, and why I wouldn't pay $15 million a year for a good, not great cornerback. You pay that kind of money for great, for playmakers, not for good cover guys that are allergic to the football.
Sounds like the 'anti-Marinelli' doesn't it?
I'd put it up there as one of the likeliest possibilities. Corner, safety, defensive tackle would be my guess for the most likely pick at #17 based on available players.Shit. That means we are slotted in to take a corner at 17.
Or no defense if KC wins.Copycat league will be looking to upgrade the DL if the 49ers win Sunday.

Even with all of the good to great coaching hires, every time I hear "fit scheme to players" I get a massive boner in sweat pants feeling.Sounds like the 'anti-Marinelli' doesn't it?
