He would at least require a first and more. I'd probably give up the first knowing you have 2 more seasons before his contract is up. After that though the other picks would have to be day three variety for me.What would you guys give up for this guy, btw? He has 2 career picks so he's no Earl Thomas. He is a tackling fool and can blitz like a mofo. Can we trade for the Jet's D Coord instead?
Could have had Thornhill for a second.
I mean, so that basically evens out to a first, no?
Adams is better than Minkah. But Minkah has more of his rookie deal left. Still you're not getting Adams who is 24 years old in the late first round.
Except the Steelers first is higher... but yeah the Steelers gave up a little less than a first.I mean, so that basically evens out to a first, no?
Dolphins give up Fitzpatrick and get a first in return, and also, they get a 4th downgraded to a 5th, and a 7th upgraded to a 6th. Presumably the 4th being downgraded to a 5th is more value than the 7th being upgraded to a 6th, so technically, the Dolphins received LESS than the value of a first round pick for Fitzpatrick.
Tell the Jets they can have a first with no other conditions. That beats the Fitzpatrick deal.
Yeah the 2019 draft is looking like a total shitshow. 2nd round pick bust, 3rd round pick on IR. Only the RB seems to be helping. It is a little early for draft grades, of course. So we'll see. But yeah, poor draft decisions can haunt you.Could have had Thornhill for a second.
Why did the Raiders give away Cooper? Why would teams give away great young players like this? I get it if your entire team is old, you know you need a rebuild, and you have one or two top players who only have a couple of good years left. But this guy is 24. Why would the Jets unload him for a second? Especially a low second? Or for that matter, even a low first?
Adams wants out that's partially why. And teams are realizing the advantages of cheap rookie deals. So they don't want to waste those years for shitty seasons. Why would teams give away great young players like this? They're dumb? Why did the Raiders give away Cooper?
