I accidentally caught an nba highlight on the news tonight.

When did NBA players start wearing pants under their shorts?

Neither team had any chance of beating Milwaukee, which should provide some solace to Sixers fans, but that has to be the worst way to lose a series. It'll be interesting to see what strategy the Sixers take with this roster long-term because I think ideally you'd like to go all-in on building around Embiid since he's the true championship talent, which would mean trading Simmons for better fitting pieces, but you can't really rely on his health so they might just have to play it down the middle and see how things go.

I think the Sixers need to stay the course, add a quality backup center, another shooter, maybe a perimeter defender, and see what happens.

A lot of things could have swung game 7, but one thing keeps sticking out to me. Greg Monroe played about I think a minute and change and was a -9. That's nuts. Boban had a similar line in game 6.

The Sixers were about +90 in the series with Embiid and like a -100 or something without him. They have to address that.

So, Doncic won ROY, and we added Porzingis. Things are looking pretty good for the Mavs.

Not a chance. Westbrook is my guy and I appreciate everything he's done for the organization and the city, but I'd grown tired of his inefficient style of play over the last couple of years. He hasn't shown any interest in altering his game therefore year after year we got the same results in the playoffs after KD's departure.

So I'm actually happy that the post-Westbrook era has begun in OKC. His costly technical fouls, high turnover numbers, poor shot selection, poor 2-point, 3-point, and FT shooting are now Houston's problems to try to overcome.

I honestly wish him well and would like to see him finally get a ring because he really is a great guy, but the dude is just wired in a manner that prevents him from playing under control. He needs a coach & organization who aren't afraid to stand up to him and make him adhere to a certain standard. He never had that in OKC.

In OKC he was given the keys to the kingdom and it seemed like people walked on egg shells around him because they didn't want to scare away one of the few superstars who actually chose to play in OKC. It's a tough market to attract FAs to so I can understand that.

That's where Houston has an advantage, IMO, when it comes to corralling him.

I likened it to the old saying "absolute power, corrupts absolutely". They gave him power he wasn't equipped to handle. He needs a firm hand to guide him.

Genius move. No chance they'll get the naming rights but they'll get a bunch of free publicity from it.

The Mavs are going to be a lot of fun to watch this year.

My only complaint about Luka is that he takes too many bad 3 point shots. He averages close to 10 three point attempts per game and it seems like half of them are off-balanced or well behind the 3 point line.

If he were more disciplined and did a better job picking his spots, I think he could shoot a lot closer to 40% from behind the arc.

The man is setting records left and right. I'll take a few off balance shots.
