I just want to take a minute to point out that with our old version posting that article in an existing thread would have been next to impossible. I'm really liking this version more and more as the days pass.

Going back to my previous post....I'd like to see the Cowboys start the game off with some aggressive play calling rather than the standard/conservative run it on every first down approach that they rely on too much. I think that's one of the main reasons why the offense doesn't really get rolling until the 3rd quarter. After watching their stale 1st half play calling net them 6 or fewer points in 1st halves, it finally dawns on them they they need to get more aggressive and creative with the play calling.
Yup.

What started this whole turnaround was going to Philly and calling the types of routes that they had stayed away from up to that point.

I wasn't just surprised by the result, I was surprised by how aggressive the playcalling was right out of the gate and the types of downfield passes we were calling.

We are not winning this game or standing a chance against anyone should we advance with the conservative approach. We need to come out aggressive and let Dak sling it around.

If he fails, so be it. But there's no point in showing up if it's gonna be playaction roll outs and slants all day long.

Come out and go for it from the jump.

If we employ the same gameplan we used with the Giants, we have a damn good chance of winning this game. I haven't seen Dak throwing it around like that since, well maybe ever. It was like watching a completely different offense. For the first time in a long time, the offense actually entertained me. You just have to hope the coaches (Garrett) learned from it.

The Giants game is easy to do because we essentially had nothing to lose, that's why the Philly game was more impressive to me.

Technically, you could say we had nothing to lose then too since we were basically playing for our lives at that point and couldn't worry about "not losing".

Still, in a game where there was far more risk involved, they chose to open it up and go for it. I'm hoping that they take same approach against Seattle.

Don't leave anything to chance. Just fucking go for it. Both losses to Green Bay in the Garrett era were heartbreakers and they left so many what-ifs to contemplate.

Don't do that this time. Go for it and at least know you did all you could if you lose.

That's the problem with Garrett, though. He would rather play a close game and lose, than play wide open. He is all about keeping the game close. I mean, the fag played for a FG on multiple occasions just this year. He has got to go. I'm not rotting for a loss, but if it mean Garrett went away, I might.

I've got bad news for you guys.

You know how I've recanted over the years how I have a flawless record at Cowboys games? I'm at like 33-0 or some shit. Never once in my presence have the Dallas Cowboys lost a football game. So if only I could go, victory would be ensured.

However, my uncle on the other hand is the complete opposite. Every game he has attended since 1999 have all been losses. It's something crazy like 12 straight losses.

And guess who's going to the Seattle game?

Good ol' Uncle Armando. :lol

He was at the last Green Bay game in 2016 too. That's the type of shit he has on his resume right now.

So prepare for it, boys......prepare yourselves for the worst.

You know, you probably won't go to hell if ole Uncle Armando happens into an accident that ensures he can't make the game. :unsure

If it meant Garrett would be guaranteed to receive the boot, I'd be all for a Seahawks win.

I don't think this team is all that good. As pessimistic as I am, I still recognize the effort and fight it took to turn this season around. It was impressive, and I'm proud of that young team for doing something the Romo-era Cowboys could never do. But having said that, this team isn't anywhere near being a SB contender.

If this were 2014 or 2016, I would've just rolled the dice. But now we know exactly what Garrett is what happens to the teams after they have successful seasons under his watch -- they fall flat on their faces the very next year.

So because I know Garrett can't build on this and that this 2018 team doesn't have a prayer to win the SB, I'd be all for losing this game and firing Garrett in this hypothetical scenario.

Multiple players have said the Cowboys have had a good week of practice so far leading into Saturday’s game against Seattle. That does not mean they will play well, but Jason Garrett has liked the energy from his team. “Locked in, engaged, ready to go,” Garrett said. “It’s a short week but just grasped on to the fact that it was Wednesday on Tuesday and just went to work. And whatever aftereffects anybody had physically from the ballgame, put it behind them and practiced the right way. Just locked in. Ready to go. Embracing each of the opportunities each step of the way.”

They won't be able to do that this time.

How much you guys wanna bet we come out flat this weekend? Like, down 17-3 at half kinda flat.
I dont see it. This team is too young, theyre amazed that they turned 3-5 around and won the division. They believe.

You seem to forget that Garrett is still our head coach.
