Garrett hasn't "achieved" anything per se, other than I like the fact that does preach accountability and I think that counts for something and I think it has rubbed off a little.
:lol

Preaching accountability does not count as an achievement.

What else would you call a brand new defense, and new coordinators across the board? Don't trip over your LOLs they make you sound BRILLIANT.
I was recently accused of being you on another board and I am beginning to see what a massive insult it was.

The offense had the same coordinator as last year and has a new play caller but it is the same exact scheme and play book as last year, genius.

The defense is a new scheme, and not exactly a complicated one.

A new regime would be changing Jerry and/or Garrett at least.

Now go back to your sandbox.

Garrett was out-coached yesterday but I have to also point the finger at 3 players who really stunk it up.

Bruce Carter, Mo Claiborne, and Tony Romo.

Carter for looking like a complete slug in coverage. Not just on the two TDs to Woodhead but also for constantly being beaten on underneath routes which resulted in the Chargers seemingly always being in 2nd/3rd and short situations.

Claiborne for being completely lost in coverage. He looks like a UDFA who's recently joined the team and is still learning the scheme. I can handle CBs being beaten on routes but what I can't handle is a CB who is never in position to even challenge a pass. Mo is always 3-5 yards away from the receiver when the pass is completed. That's horrid and should result in his immediate benching. Kiffin would earn my complete respect if he dropped Claiborne down to the 4th DB. I'd rather we play Scandrick, Carr, and Webb ahead of him.

Romo for being spastic and erratic when things got tough. And for locking in on Witten way too often. Also, Romo had quite a few bitch moments yesterday like when he basically just laid down and gave up on a play when he could have easily stepped up into the pocket. Instead he chooses to literally curl up in the fetal position. If he's that shell-shocked it's time to start looking for his replacement.
Yeah, Romo has been less than impressive this year so far. His INTs are down but he's also not really making any plays.

How awesome was Mike McCarthy's resume before he was hired? How great did Sean Payton look on paper? How are McCoy, Roman, Carmichael, or Bradley any worse than them?
No one knew that McCarthy or Payton looked great on paper before they were hired, that is a risk those respective franchises had to take. It's also a risk that will never pan out for our franchise because those coaches are given latitude in their respective cities that Jerry Jones would suffocate out of them as rookie head coaches here in Dallas.

I'd love a McCarthy or Payton now that they are established and can command respect and call their own shots to an extent (and even then, they would come here and be neutered to an extent and they'd be less effective here than they are in GB or NO).

The rookie coaches who could come in here and do things the right way with Jerry breathing down their necks are few and far between.

I'm not saying those unknown guys don't exist, I'm saying they have no shot here at developing into great coaches. You either need a surefire guy like Harbaugh who comes ready-made demanding respect, or you need a guy who is accomplished enough to demand respect but not so washed up that they are just grateful for the opportunity to get a last paycheck.

So if the Steelers finish with 3 or fewer wins does that mean Garrett is a better coach than Mike Tomlin?

Because you're coming off as if coaches can only be measured by their floor rather than their ceiling.
No, because we know Tomlin is good enough to coach a team up. We know Tomlin has a ceiling. He's gonna have down years, maybe like Cowher did, but he'll rebound and that is how you know he has what it takes to actually do some quality coaching.

Wade only has a down arrow. His coaching style is one-way.... relaxed, which produces diminishing results. He was giving a 1-7 coaching performance the whole time, it just takes a while to set in.

Thank goodness we now have superpunk here so he can keep it real for all of us fake fans.
:lol

"Overreaction" is right out of Hostile's playbook. You can take the boy out of the Zone, but you can't take the Zone ...

The OC isn't new. He was just given an expanded role. Either way, it's completely moronic to keep a failing coach because you hope his underlings can get better.
Not saying it isn't moronic. But that's what we did. So it's a bit stupid to overreact today, when we've been in every game. How different is yesterday w/o the drops and Williams being a complete waste of space?

The reaction is right where it should be. 2-2 heading for another mediocre 8-8 or worse year. If you're looking for rainbows and unicorns after every loss then you are at the wrong place.

Exactly. If you don't recognize the same script that we've seen for years and years, you just aren't very bright.

New regime. :lol Christ that's funny.

Yea, never mind that we look exactly like the same team from the previous 2 seasons and have the exact same win one/lose one formula, this is all just overreacting.

No sign of any trends whatsoever.

We have been playing them close, boys. That's good enough for ole SP. 8-8, you say? Not the best but doggone it the games were close and Jerruh is still trying, dagnabbit.

17 years, man. 17 fucking years, and it's the same piece of shit we have been dealing with all along. I swear you could predict our seasons before they even start.

What I :lol about is ANOTHER 8-8 season coming up.

Denver, NO, Chicago, Washington TWICE, and Green Bay.

Should be fun watching Jerruh's facelift sag a bit more.

Yeah...that's almost as retarded as Reid hiring his OC to be the fucking DC.
