This 4th quarter might be the worst display of rim defense that I have ever seen.

This is an embarrassment.

I get that he's frustrated because Carlisle takes him out when he's playing well, but he can't act that way.
He wasn't even playing well. He was being careless with the ball, and didn't really even seem to be trying all that hard. I was glad Carlisle benched his sorry ass.

I disagree.

Outside of that dumb 8 second thing, he was running the offense and getting guys shots. That's what he does.

The best and most efficient this offense has looked in this series was during that stretch in the 2nd/3rd quarter of game 1 when he took over. He was playing well again to start yesterday and he was yanked after the 8 second violation, then he went into tank mode which was BS on his part.

But you can see how much better we look when he's on the floor and we're letting him handle the ball. He's an NBA champion with tons of playoff experience, and he's by far the best perimeter defender we have.

Both he and Carlisle need to stop acting like children and set aside their differences for the sake of the team. Rondo needs to play, and he also needs to be a professional and do his job the right way. We aren't winning this series, nor will we even make it competitive for that matter, if Barea and Harris are getting the majority of the minutes at PG.

And don't even get me started on Felton.

He threw the ball away at least twice before the 8 second violation. He was being careless.

OKC fires Scott Brooks. He may have deserved it in the past but I hate when coaches get fired for having poor seasons when their star player misses the majority.

Mavs have ruled out Rondo indefinitely "due to back injury".

I read back injury as coach and player dispute.

Meanwhile, Jae Crowder looks like a keeper and the draft pick is just one more in the arsenal. Thanks Mavs.

Damn.

Well, that was a spectacular fail of a trade.

It was time for a change. He'd taken them as far as he could take them.

I'm just glad they decided to make a move now rather than wasting the entire KD-Ibaka-Westbrook era. As I thunder fan I didn't want to be left wonder "What if" 4 years from now.

Brooks is a good coach but the Thunder certainly can do better than him.

Right now it's sounding like Kevin Ollie and possibly Thibodeau will likely be on their radar. My guess is that it'll be Ollie since he formed a pretty good relationship with Durant and co. back when the team initially moved to OKC. Plus he's already proven that he has the coaching chops to lead a team to a title, albeit in college.

With Rondo out of the lineup for the foreseeable future, the Mavs offense is suddenly efficient and explosive again.

Coincidence? I think not.
