I'm not buying all the talk that the Colts were scared of us. It was a great win and we played great to get that result. But we also played a team with little to play for without their 2 best playmakers this season.

I'm not sure Hilton would have made a huge difference considering how well the offense played against their D, but his absense was very noticable in how well their offense functioned and how comfortable Luck is.
They had plenty to play for. A 1st round bye is huge in the playoffs. What I don't buy is that they had nothing to play for. BS.

I'm not sure what to say. I'm as far into homer as I have been in a very long time. It's just surreal. We didn't back our way into the playoffs. We went into that game and flatout punched them in the mouth. Over and over again. And they stood there and took it because they were scared to death of us. You could see it in their demeanor. For the first time in a very long time we stepped on their throats and then jumped. In December. With the playoffs and division on the line. We swung first and beat them Mike Tyson style. Such a good day to be a Cowboys fan. It's been a long time coming.

Holy fuck why did I watch those videos. #finishthefight
I liked you better when we were 8-8.

I can't deal with homer Iamtdg.

Dude, you have no idea. I was floating around on cloud 9 all night last night and it carried over into today. I am seriously waving a towel like a fool right now, and I am not ashamed.

I don't buy this, nothing to play for stuff though. NFL players just don't think like that. A guy like Andrew Luck isn't taking the field going "well I'm going to half ass it since odds are we can't get a first round bye." You can say that maybe players don't want to get hurt but everyone knows the easiest way to get hurt is to be on the field and not give 100%. We saw a Redskins team with absolutely nothing to gain go out and beat the Eagles with everything to lose.

Hilton not playing definitely hurt the Colts. They are a different offense without him. Now would they have won the game against us, no, but there offense almost certainly would have done better. The reason we were able to top them to 1 yard rushing is because we didn't have to worry so much about the home run ball.

It's been the Colts' pattern all year to beat the shit out of bad teams and bend over for the good ones.

Where playing for something matters is how badly you fight back. Playing your game as an NFL pro is easy, but when you get punched in the mouth your character gets tested and the Colts had less in their hearts to fight back with.

Less hope without TY and less reason to play having clinched the division. When Luck threw that pick to Wilcox, the game was over. Every last gasp was squeezed out of the Colts.

A lot of it had to do with their character, but some of it also had to do with TY's absence and playing for nothing.

They got scared of us as the game went on...we blew them up, McClain in particular on a few occasions, and they offered little to no resistance. They knew they were outgunned and outmanned. They then took Luck out because they were scared he was going to get hurt. They were scared of a monster...and the Cowboys were mother fucking King King and Godzilla all in one.

One thing that stuck out was when McClain slammed Wayne to the ground and he just looked defeated.
That guy is such a badass. Huge, huge addition to the team. So damn physical. I would imagine that pure physicality combined with those crazy eyes really does put a little bit of fear into opposing offenses.

Hopefully they can bring McClain back next season, but if not it has been a pleasure to watch him play this season.

I admit I was dead wrong on the McClain signing. They hit a home run on that one. And he is a must sign in the offseason.

Absolutely. He would most likely be at the very top of my defensive must-sign list. He brings an attitude we have not had on this defense in a very long time.

That finish the fight video was sweet.

If it doesn't pump you up, then you need to be checked for a pulse.

I knew you and Iam were going to be the first 2 to go into full homer mode.:lol

Not mad at you but since 2007 I have learned to keep the pom poms in check, that loss was just too painful.:sad

I saw something as well in that game an ability to run and a defense that was fiesty.
