I saw one episode from last season and it involved the Scandinavian dude killing off a family taking care of him and some crazy Mormons. Figured I was too far behind and just left again.
Yeah they were still kind of all over the place at that point.

To tell the truth if you don't want to put that much time in I would just read plot summaries of season 3 and catch up that way.

This current season is pretty great and these last 3 episodes are some of the best TV I watched in awhile.

They finally figured out what to do withe Swede and focused more on Bohanon and just getting the railroad built, it has done wonders for the plotlines.

It's having a great season, but I still think it would benifet from more railroad building. Been in Cheyenne a minute or two.

I figured this would be right up your alley.:lol

I think being in Cheyenne has helped I still have 3 more episodes to watch but the stuff with bear killer and the kid could not have been done IMO anywhere else but Cheyenne.

Plus I really like all of the politics of creating a town in the territories, the governor has been a great addition as well.

Hell on Wheels Spoilers.

When he shot Elam that really fucked me up I kept expecting him to snap out of it, but I knew they were going to a dark place, and the way Cullen handled it was brutal that was a gut wrenching wail at the end.

I was never a big fan of the character but the gave him a hell of send off.

Sons of Anarchy is almost unwatchable stupid. How am I supposed to believe 6 guys on bikes are a force to be reckoned with?

I just cant wait for it to end (of course I still watch it).
I'm just sticking with it to see the end. It has gone downhill the last couple of seasons.

These shows make their mark due to some sort of shock factor and then when they have to sustain for multiple seasons, they up it to the point that it is completely unbelievable.

I gave up on Hell on Wheels in Season 2. Is it worth trying to catch up again?

It's a downslide of Gemma's eventual demise. The last 2 seasons total. I think they are doing it well, so far. I can't see how they could have built it to this point without some of the shock stuff from the black and Chinese. They had to have that to show just how bad Gemma had fucked the club not only in this situation but many more before it. It's been an excellent build-up to what I have to just hope is a satisfactory ending.

If I were you I would just start back with season four. It sorta reboots so you won't be lost (all you need to know is bohannon had a shotgun wedding to a Mormon and you are caught up), if it doesn't get you back into the show nothing will.

Once you are pumped up go ahead and slip through season 3

Yea, I love the show, even when it's bad.

And you are probably right, they couldn't have done what they did if it wasn't in Cheyenne. I still miss hell on wheels

For those that have seen the season finale of Hell On Wheels:

Was that underwhelming for you as well? Expected some kind of cliffhanger but really didnt get it and no real closure to Cheyenne (Durant and Governer??

Well, they have members who don't give a shit and will kill you. They have a line on all the illegal guns they want. They have multiple chapters in multiple states to call for backup. And their leader is a really smart guy.

Yeah that was anti climatic after that great episode with Cullen and Ruth.
I think the Governor and Cheyenne will probably be gone next season, but Durant will still be with the railroad.

Uh no they are about 50 to 75 guys total and it does not matter how many guns they have its only about 10 guys in that chapter.

The Chinese, Mayans and black gangs have everything they have and more and the leader is not really smart but incredibly lucky.

Its a compelling show but in real life they would have been wiped out in season 2.:lol

If they are supposed to be like a real 1%er club then they would have thousands of members worldwide.

And even if that's true what would stop any of those gangs or the Cartel from wiping them out?

Its not like they can teleport everybody in.

And let's not forget they have killed 2 federal agents at least.:lol

The difference is that the SOA is a nation-wide group. The Niners and Mayans are local Oakland gangs. All of their members are right there. I think that's why it seems like it's 100 to 1 odds.

Rick be like:

Kill everyone. As an aside...with Sasha getting knocked the fuck out it shows that Rick's method was right and Tyreese was wrong. Now this could cause friction or maybe turn Tyreese into a killer like he should be.

Even Daryl was questioning Rick.

Oh...and Father Fagboy can go F himself.

I laughed my ass off when he stepped on that nail after getting out of the church. I was telling my wife he wasn't going to make it long out on his own. That just sealed it.

Exactly.

Even if they have 1000's in the sons, they only call on a couple of chapters for help and they don't seem to have enough sway to start a war on the say so of the redwood charter.

Even if they had the muscle of the entire organization behind them, they would be wiped out at any of their tense meetings with rivals, because in every one they had 6 guys with pistols facing off against a dozen plus with automatic weapons.

Not to mention the heat that would have resulted from murdering Feds and the dozen dead hookers (and since when is prostitution legal in California?)
