I really thought Harvin would do wonders in Seattle but he has been disappointing so far.
He's playing well for them, but he isn't a true receiver. He's a guy who's dangerous with the ball in his hands, but he isn't good enough as a WR to get open consistently. So when the trick plays don't work like they today, then it pretty much negates him as a threat.

Didn't Seattle have something called the Legion of boom or something?

Even Clutts pwned Chancellor on one of Murray's big runs.

You could tell Chancellor wasn't right though. Seemed very limited.

This team is for real...and I saw some physicality that I haven't seen in years on both sides of the ball.
We were hitting the shit out of those guys.

They are known for hurting their opponents, but today it was us popping those guys on every possession.

This newfound toughness is awesome to watch.

Hey he was stacking practices one on top of the other. Just takes awhile to stack them...
In every other team coverage outlet besides this one, he will get a ton of props for this. Only on this board does the guy do nothing right at all.

He's doing a good job so far. And yes, his approach is paying off.

Time will tell if it keeps up.

Seattle is too far away from what they were doing before. Lynch should have gotten more carries. You could see they were like we were in recent years where we got nervous and just dumped it in the QBs lap.

True. But Sherman and Thomas were pretty invisible as well.
Sherman had some good coverage, but Dez just beat him for the ball. I will say though that they under estimated how important some quality CB depth is though...losing Thurmond was big for them.

Also, it sounded like the crowd was pretty loud on Seattle's last 2 possessions. Wonder what presence Cowboys fans had, if any.

"This win is a coaching win. It's a Jason Garrett win," Jones said. "This called on everything you could ever ask a coach to come together with a team. He answered the bell today."

Yep. Extension coming soon.
Aaaaaaaaand that's why I posted what I did earlier.

Bad timing to have a knee injury, the exact step before catching the ball

I do prop Garrett though...he had to know if this season did not go well he would be in trouble...in that case you see coaches getting more involved. He stepped back and let his assts coach and they are better for it. I don't love the guy, but I credit him for being a HC instead of a glorified OC.
Right.

None of us thought the hiring of Linehan would bring anything different because we assumed since their offense was similar at its core, he would simply be rehashing more of the same shit.

But to Garrett's credit, it appears that he's given him complete control of the offense to do as he sees fit.

Garrett has the right ideas as far as how a team should be run, but he couldn't really influence that much and part of the reason is because of how involved he was in the offense.

If he keeps preaching the same message he was preaching before, but is actually getting the entire team to buy in, then I have no problem with him staying around if this team has a successful year.

Not sure what is up with that.

I think Russell Wilson has played so well and made so many plays with his feet that maybe they started to think that that should be the basis for their gameplan each week.

Seattle doesn't scare anyone with their passing game. Their running game gets going and then it opens up all kinds of shit for Wilson and they'd be wise to go back to what has made them so successful over the last 2 years.
