So, don't shop at Target anymore. This has nothing at all to do with this thread. You have just run out of stupid shit to post.
One of your heroes shoplifted and was allowed to retire without facing charges.

So, he lost his job, at the very least. Doesn't say anywhere in the article that he didn't get prosecuted. You are beyond reaching at this point.

It didn't say he did either, but the Target employee lost his job.

You can't judge anything from this slanted article. It's from a website dedicated to social injustice weirdos like you. You don't know what happened. You're just speculating based on your agenda. From what I can tell, the guy didn't follow procedure and got fired for it.

You are getting one side to the story, and my bet is (since he got fired) he told his side in the least compromising to his character.

At this point, jon88, posting individual instances of every police fuckup is pointless and diminishes the strength of your argument. I agree that the nature of policing should change, but you're teetering on just being a whiner now. The discussion is more about policing - what is acceptable level of authority and what is too much. What powers should be taken away, what actions should be done to minimize and so forth.
It seems he has migrated to this board more to talk politics/injustice than to talk football. He's teetering on more than being a whiner.

How come it works for pit bulls (who only kill about six people a year) and doesn't work for cops. Seems unfair.

I'd rather talk football and I've even been talking basketball, which is not my favorite thing, but this is the worst time of year to talk football. It's pretty awful how little is going on. Look how long we stretched out the McClain thread because we had nothing better to do.

The way to neutralise a thread is to simply not participate in it. Sooner or later it was go by the wayside. Are you disciplined enough to apply the test?

Probably not. I get bored when there's no football.

I thought this thread was about posting articles about the police?

Now I'm "whining" because I'm following the thread guidelines? Ok...

Two police cars responded, and Santiago was in the first car to arrive. Campbell approached Santiago’s car and shot the young officer in the head, officials said. Officers in another vehicle fired at Campbell, fatally wounding him.

The chaos unfolded shortly after 4 a.m. in Jersey City, when police say Campbell walked into the store and pretended to be looking for greeting cards. A security guard pointed Campbell in the right direction.

[h=1]Off-Duty Police Officer's Heroic Move Saves Elderly Man In Burning Gas Station[/h]The Huffington Post | By Isaac Saul

John A. Vescio went to bed a hero last Tuesday.

Frightening surveillance footage captured in White Plains, New York, shows a car careening into a gas pump at a Mobil station. Moments later, the pump and two cars around it are engulfed in flames.

Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. last Tuesday, but the footage was released on Friday, according to CBS New York.

The driver who crashed his car was an elderly man who investigators say was in diabetic shock, The Journal News reported. Fortunately for him, an off-duty state police officer was in the station pumping gas at the time. Vescio, who is a New York State Police senior investigator, managed to run away just as the fire erupted.

In the video above, he can be seen quickly returning to the scene to rescue the elderly man. Despite being injured by a gas pump that fell on him as he made his escape, Vescio opened the man's car door and dragged him to safety. He also warned people to stay back from his vehicle, which had live ammunition in the trunk.

"It happened so quick,"
Vescio told The Journal News. "It was hard to think. I pretty much just reacted."

Vescio and the driver escaped with minor injuries.

When they murder people it doesn't count because they are better than us and deserve to kill one or two of us animals for maybe being scary but when they spare one of us it does count.

See, this is where you and the other retards are off the reservation. Who in this thread even one single time even inferred that they are okay with cops shooting innocent people? And, someone being okay with a no-knock raid does not make them okay with an innocent person getting shot.

Right. My contention has always been I do not believe the majority are corrupt. In fact I believe the opposite. Never will I feel it it okay to usurp force or violence when unnecessary.

If you believe it is OK to use no knock raids then I don't know what fucking Constitution you claim to love.
