Not sure they could have done all that with 7 minutes left.
7 game minutes is a good 20 in real time. That should have been enough time to get him hydrated and back on the floor. Remember, the Spurs didn't pull away til about the 1:30 mark. It may have made a difference.

If you are trying to blame this on him at all, you are offbase. If the medical staff wanted to wheel him back and give him an IV, that is on them.

Not at all. That team needs to rise up and take care of business when he's off the floor. They were awful and the Spurs couldn't miss.

But I do think he could've gotten back on the floor after treatment and either he or the team didn't respond in the right way.

Not saying it was on purpose, but how do they not have a back up generator for the cooling system...particularly in Texas.

There was an article on espn.com today about how this has actually been a frequent issue with Lebron.

Warm arenas = Lebron cramping up.

On my phone or I'd post link.

LeBron is an easy target and while I lobbed a few friendly jabs at him myself, the people who should really be criticized are Bosh and Wade.

Those are 2 All Stars and Hall of Famers. Allegedly.

Those two guys needed to step up in LeBron's absence and both of them just laid down and threw in the towel.

LeBron is the easy target. The low hanging fruit that will garner internet clicks and tv ratings but the fact of the matter is Wade and Bosh should have been ripped more than LeBron.

I like LeBron's style of play tonight. He's operating primarily out of the post and in the paint. Hasn't settled for a single jumper.

As an aside, I love seeing the Heat being forced to play hard after that cake walk through the East.

One more thing...I can't stand Jalen Rose as a Countdown analyst.

I never understood why ESPN parted ways with Greg Anthony. I really enjoyed his input. He's on NBATV these days.

I am starting to think the Sixers take Exum...I think he is the #2 prospect behind Wiggins now.

Spurs didn't have one quality offensive possession in the last 90 seconds.

Nope. The ball movement wasn't crisp and there wasn't nearly as much movement without the ball that you typically see from them.

There are games where Manu shows his age...tonight was one of them. I hate to question Pop, but Duncan was killing the Heat and they went away from him for long stretches in the 2nd half. Too many jumpers from Manu and Mills.

Also...when Lebron covers Parker, they are screwed.

The flop and fake contact antics of the players make me want to throw up. Parker should get an Oscar and Wade should get on Broadway. Just play the game.

Manu flops more than anyone...his overreaction at the end...basically giving up on a play to show the refs he got touched in the face...directly contributed to his bad pass because it made the play out of synch.

Yea, Manu is the worst of the bunch, but both these teams have a number of notorious floppers on each side.

Manu, Parker, Lebron, Wade......but that's what the league is now.

Go watch a Chris Paul flop compilation - it'll make you sick.

The flops would be reduced greatly if they'd ever adjusting the retarded charging rule. Someone knocks you over the on the way to the hoop? Fine. But this sidestepping in the way at the last second when someone had a clear path is ridiculous and out of control. Play proper defense and you wouldn't need to be throwing yourself around like that to prevent an easy bucket.

Manu and Parker are the biggest reasons I hate the Spurs.

Duncan is an All-Timer, and Pop is one of the greatest coaches ever...but the flopping and crying bullshit that is Manu/Parker brings out the hate.

Miami wins this series if LeBron can keep stringing together great nights and he gets help from Bosh and Wade.

But if they depend on LeBron to win it by himself.....the Spurs probably take it.
