Why not Holloman at WLBer? If his strength is coverage, wouldn't that position be perfect for him? I'm not even sure Carter belongs in the starting lineup at LBer next year.
I agree with this. Wilber, Lee, Holloman would be my penciled in starters with Carter having to earn his way back in if someone is hurt or plays poorly.
Wilber deserves a shot from what I've seen and Holloman is terrific at times. I'm concerned about the range each has and think both are better suited for the 3-4, but each has made plays which is most important IMO.

Carter has the range, but can't seem make the mental leap being a pro takes. He can't dominate slower competition like he could in college.

I'd give Carter a chance to earn the backup spot at MLB. We need Lee insurance and I'd have more confidence in Carter than in the UDFA we picked in the 4th.

One other thing about Patmon, he transferred from Kansas, which means he was coached by Campo, which means of course, he is a footbawl playa.

Cowboys add offensive tackle
May, 22, 2014

By Todd Archer | ESPNDallas.com

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys signed offensive tackle Darius Morris and waived/injured guard Jarrod Pughsley on Thursday

Morris is the second player to sign with the club in as many days after performing well on a tryout basis in last weekend’s rookie minicamp. Cornerback Tyler Patmon was signed on Wednesday after safety Marvin Robinson was waived/injured.

Morris went to camp with the Houston Texans in 2011. He was a two-time All-MAC selection in 2009-10 while at Temple.

Pughsley, who received a $5,000 signing bonus as an undrafted free agent, suffered a torn biceps that will require surgery. If he clears waivers, he will revert to injured reserve.

Good lord, they weren't even in full contact at the rookie camp and he tore his biceps?

Not so strange. At least it was during some sort of physical activity.

I recently heard of some guy tearing his bicep while playing with his worthless old man doll and his red headed robot doll.

IRVING — It turned quiet at the Cowboys first organized team activity Tuesday when linebacker Sean Lee suffered an injury.

After colliding with an offensive lineman and falling to the turf, Lee appeared to hurt his leg and was escorted off the field to the team’s Valley Ranch facility.

Lee screamed in frustration as he entered the building.

Lee, who has missed 18 games in his career because of injuries and has yet to play a full season, entered the off-season program healthy after recovering from a torn ligament in his neck that caused him to miss the final three weeks of the 2013 campaign.
