While true the only reason we don't control our own destiny is because Schottenheimer has had these guys unprepared to start several games (Arizona specifically).

The Detroit game was whatever, good, desperate team on the road, but this team has pissed down it's leg way too many times this year for me to be too enthused about anything.

I could see them only losing 1 more game. The Skins have thrown in the towel, and the Raiders most likely won’t put up much fight.

Yeah, they are imploding fast but to say the Raiders and Redskins can put up a win or two between them is asking a lot.

The Raiders offense will be lucky to score double digits against the Eagles. Like I said, it's cross you fingers and hope the Skins turn back the clock for one game.

In the end this team will go nowhere regardless this season because our defensive coordinator is awful. Not saying the defense is a star studded cast but he isn't a legit NFL coach any longer. And I'll have the same faith if Eberflus returns next season.

Even if he's back next year I think they should make the playoffs, assuming Pickens is back.

I watched some of the game where Daniel’s got hurt (again) and Ertz got smoked…that team definitely has quit on Quinn. I’d be surprised if they stay with him next season.

Yeah division games are a different beast especially when they play twice in a short time. It's at the very least possible.

Yea, no, not with Eberflus.

Make the playoffs sure. But the difference between Eberflus and Vic Fangio/Vance Joseph for example is everything. The talent gap between our defense and the Eagles isn't nearly as big as the results would make you think. But the coaching is just utter shit. If we got a legit defensive coordinator. And I do mean a legit one. I think this defense could make a significant leap next year. But if we bring back Eberflus we will just be praying that he can pull us into the top 20 of NFL defenses.

And frankly despite all the years of evidence to the contrary I still don't think Jerry understands the importance of a great defensive coordinator. He still thinks it's all about the players. Which is why we won't go and get a legit guy.

Hurts has delivered more success than any QB Dallas has had in 25 years. They’ve also been the daddy of the division more often than not over that span.

We aren’t in a position to laugh at any team or fan base, especially Philly. We are literally the football follies of the last 30 years.
