Having a realistic shot at winning the division is one thing, it's nice but not that important overall because we aren't doing shit one way or the other with this defense.

But the actual important thing that has long term implications is that Hurts and their offense is irretrievably broken now that they don't have the literal best OL and RB in the league.

Unless they can pick another HOF OL out of their ass or somehow trick the Falcons into trading Bijan Robinson I think this version of the Eagles (i.e. the Hurts version) might be cooked.

What is most important about winning the division is if we somehow pull it off, the Eagles aren't winning the division and instead won't make the playoffs. I know that our defensive coordinator is an anchor that can't be fixed. But I'll take joy in what I can this season. And seeing an epic Eagles collapse would bring me joy.

This seemed like a good idea at the time.

I could see them only losing 1 more game. The Skins have thrown in the towel, and the Raiders most likely won’t put up much fight.

Yes but I don't think the Eagles have any shot of doing anything in the playoffs. Maybe they can beat SF or someone at home in the first game (like maybe we could pull something out of our asses at home) but then they're going to get railroaded from there (just like us).

The Bills should beat them. But at this point it's any given Sunday. Just hoping the Redskins can rile the team up for a rivalry game and do something.
The Skins nearly pulled off a win against Denver, I think there's maybe a 30% chance they can pull something off against the Eagles if they're a little juiced up to try to avenge the NFCC loss last year.

Mariota is a capable backup and they still have guys like McLaurin and Wagner out there, the Eagles are ass so it can definitely happen either at home or on the road.

I'm satisfied with their being a lower seed, facing a decent team in the first round, and losing at home in front of those loser fans.

Yep, obviously I'd prefer it if we win the division but the way they're collapsing is about more than just this season. I think they're kind of done structurally for the next year or two unless their asshole Jew GM hoodwinks someone into trading them an elite player for half the going price like he did with Brown.

Their schedule is so weak I don't think we can catch them. Those teams are probably semi- if not outright tanking at this point. If Daniels played, I'd think there was a chance, but I bet they shut him down. (Or have they already... I could be Trey Lancing this thing.)

But they can limp in and get crushed at home in the first round in front of those bloodthirsty assholes. I'll take it.

I don't think they are doing anything in the playoffs either. Barkley is broken. Ignore his final stats last night. A couple big runs make the stats look great. He can't gain yards consistently at all. The majority of his runs went nowhere. And Hurts can't carry an offense passing the ball. He sucks as a passer. And it's wonderful seeing that exposed.

I just think if the Eagles miss the playoffs they may full on turn on their QB and suddenly they have no direction.
