Disagree, Lions is a must win

NFC game vs a team we’ll be trying to win tie-breakers against

In fact all NFC games are must wins now
Yeah, I mean technically speaking beating the Lions is probably the most important of the 3. I figure if we can get to 10 wins we will have the advantage over every other 10 win team except maybe the Packers. But ideally at 11 wins there is no way we don't make the playoffs.

The tie kind of makes the tie breakers meaningless unless we are tied with the Packers.

I think "pressures" these days are kind of a BS stat, but still...

Pressures are really important, especially with a DT up the middle because it disrupts the QBs throwing lanes and prevents them from being able to stay in the pocket.

It's only a BS stat because it's very subjective. And with a DE, it may just mean the QB stepped up in the pocket to avoid it. But I see lots of subjective stats these days. Like you'll see these stats with corners that claim they only gave up so many yards. Like I saw someone claiming Mitchell wasn't roasted by Pickens and the stat said he only gave up a couple catches and minimal yards. And I was like, dude the last play alone when he torched Mitchell was for more yards than that. But I'm sure the tracking stats don't count it because Pickens got so open on that play it was ridiculous.

I've bashed Eberflus as much as anyone on here and it wouldn't break my heart if we brought someone else in.

But... if he could prove competent the rest of the year, it sure would be nice to not have a fourth DC in four years.
I didn't think the defense was that bad today, they got good pressure and had a few nice run stops on 3rd and short.

The two 4th down throws into tight coverage and the 3rd and 6 late that was nearly a sack twice were plays very few QB's make. Mahomes had one of his best games of the year and we still won, if this was September or October they might've scored 50 with Mahomes playing like that.

Yeah I thought they actually played pretty well. They gave up the initial 14 but then shut the Chiefs down for a pretty long period of time. Mahomes was playing like the season was on the line and made some passes that only Mahomes makes.

When Dak has elite weapons, he can be elite. And he is still in the middle of his prime.
So throwing the ball yes. But it's the mobility that has been really impressive. Not in terms of running for yards but just navigating the pocket and throwing on the run. He has looked way more mobile this season than probably the previous 2.

While the Chiefs aren't still "the Chiefs" exactly, their defense is still absolutely elite by almost any metric (top 5-10 in both yards and points, among other things).

They had only give up 30+ points once this year, to Jacksonville, a total that was aided by a pick-6 and some other flukey stuff. Jacksonville only had 319 yards of offense which doesn't usually translate to that many points without turnovers/defensive scores.

The 457 yards was the most KC had given up all year, only Buffalo had gone over 400 so far. They had only given up 350+ three times total before tonight.

The 320 passing from Dak was the most they've given up all year, the Chargers/Herbert were the only team to previously go over 300 and that was in the opener.

Tonight's game was a good example of the type of potential this group has as long as they can keep Pickens. The skill position talent is almost unstoppable over the course of a game unless the OL falls apart or we shit ourselves with mistakes. I said recently that I thought Lamb/Pickens had the potential to rival the best WR duos of the last 20-30 years and I stand by that, you have to keep them together by any means necessary.
